Has anyone else noticed that the people in these types of ads are ALWAYS shown happily riding bikes at some point?  I can only speak for myself but how many grown adults (outside of the NYC and other large city areas) still do this in large numbers? Confused

Also, they always have to show the woman on a cutesy first date making googly-eyes with a hunky guy. Maybe that medication will prevent you having a sudden violent mudslide at the worst time possible!Shocked LOL

Very good point, so many of these asshat med ads showing people riding a bike. And yes, the IBS seems to have them all the time. And a beach and a damn date.

It shows "confidence" - that the person on that medication can ride a bike, take a nice stroll..flirting with someone without leaving a trail of personal explosive biohazard closing off a 2 block radius, shutting down a beach or making a mess on a dinner date. A sudden disaster in the pants can kill the mood when out of nowhere one begins to reek like North Jersey.

It's more popular than you might think...they have added bike lanes in many of the towns and small cities around here.
Taking parking away from homeowners and renters, that's how important it is around here.

Is there a company out there that can make a pill without side effects worse than what you took the pill for?

Because these drug advertisers obviously believe the reason all adults aren't super sporty and into extreme sports is due to not using their drugs.

Very small fraction of adults do things like mountain climb or want to hop on that bike they kept in the back of their garage because they have SO much free time.
I am part of the target audience....and I hate it.

I've known people who've meant to do that, so they buy the expensive bikes and then proceed to never ride them.

I think it's supposed to be an intestinal tract. Which makes so much more sense of course.

I can't help to think these meds are simply the equivalent of taking 5 Imodium's. That "gotta go gotta go" explosive diarrhea has stopped.

BUT now after a week of not going what so ever, you're bloated and constipated.

Time to down a bottle of Dulcolax

Any ad with a sentient, speaking internal organ makes my stomach turn.  Don't tell the drug companies though; they'll commission a new ad with a sentient, speaking stomach.  Or have they already?
