Wow! Do you hate your car? Do you trust everyone? Are you so rich you don't need to rent your car to a stranger? I worry when Mama drives my truck, it's just so much bigger than her Edge.

I can't complain but sometimes I still do.

Check out Uber Man on YouTube and his experience with Turo. Yeah, not too good. One punk took his Chevy Cruze and returned it in such horrible condition, smoked in with ash and butts all over, sticky stuff spilled in the cup holders, etc...and then he quietly returned the car, left the key on the hood, and took off thinking he wouldn't be caught.

Some things should just not be done.  This is one of them.

Sounds like the intent is to exploit and capitalize on people's financial hardships and desperation to keep their payments up.

I wonder how they cover the liability issue.

Any damage done by your car, no matter who was driving, is your responsibility. They must have a damage waiver or something.

Still, I'd never let anyone else drive my car.
Great news guys.... With the Air Hawk, flat balls are no longer a problem!!!

They have a customer support number but trying to get them to pay for damages is like trying to get a pile of bricks to pick themselves up and relocate itself. Not sure if Turo offers some sort of special insurance or guarantee but that's just ridiculous. Maybe if this was the 20s, this would be acceptable. But these days, you don't know how the heck you're going to get.

Personally, the financial return isn't worth the actual risk you're taking using this sort of service
