It's A Kindle

Ugh, I saw this tripe yesterday.  Although I don't own either an iPad or Kindle, the screen issue is most likely true depending on lighting, but geez...what a smarmy b****!  Who cares about your stupid sunglasses!  I'm sure they really came from the dollar store anyway.   Oh, and although I'm not saying the iPad is better...wait until the girl needs to email something to her BFF, or check Facebook...she'll have to go back to her hotel and go on her laptop, while the guy could just cover the screen and open his internet browser.

Ugh I hate the woman in this commercial.  Way to make a complete stranger feel horrible about the iPad he just bought.  Just answer, "It's a kindle" and go back to your reading.  No one cares how much you paid for it or for the gaudy sunglasses you're wearing!

I'd just love to see a response to this ad made by Apple.  Here's my vision: The woman with nice sunglasses would be out at the pool at night, using a weak, dim flashlight to light her Kindle screen.  The flashlight flickers on and off, and the woman gets mad because she can't read or see.  The camera pans to the guy, who is reading on his brightly-lit iPad.  He's wearing sunglasses, and the screen is so bright that it looks like it is daytime around him.  He closes the reading app and opens a flashlight app, and holds the light over the Kindle, allowing the woman to see.  The guy says "See the flashlight?  It only cost 99 cents at the App Store.  I paid a lot more for these sunglasses!"
