Well I mowed the entire lawn yesterday (Yay!) Did it myself, good to get it done! Wasn't too tall, pretty easy. Now I hear rumbles of thunder in the distance! T-storms EXCITING!
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off

It was even colder this morning...46! It's friggin beautiful now. 72 and sunny.
It had been a week since I mowed the lawn, it was getting pretty shaggy. It looks good though with all of the recent rain.

Hot, sunny and humid here. I think the rain chance is about 30%. That means about 30% of the coverage area is likely to get rain.

Over here near the coast it's breezy, so in the shade it feels pretty good.

Several rounds of heavy rain since midnight. Very Humid!
I turned on the A/C about an hour ago. Not only is it cooler air but it is dryer air.
And there are a lot of allergens in the air outside.

I lucked out this morning with the weather. I was watching an area of rain moving this way.
I try not to run any equipment before 8AM, I had just enough time to get the lawn mowed before it started raining. It's 11:30 now and it's still raining.

Yeah! It's a dry heat!  I've been to Vegas, in February.
I've been to Phoenix too, there was snow at the Grand Canyon.
Dallas, I don't even remember that trip.

I start bitching when it gets above 85 here, can you imagine what it was like to live in the southwest before A/C?

Muggy and barely hitting 80 here.  Gross.

At least it's relatively dry.  Much better (by default) than May was.

Speaking of May and wet weather...it'd be real nice if the fungus (that was supposed to show up with the wet weather) would appear and genocide those f*cking gypsy moth caterpillars.  Really getting sick of their sh*t, literally and figuratively.  They're everywhere, their crap is everywhere, more trees are getting defoliated/killed off...ridiculous!  Second year in a row these damn things have shown up but this time we don't have the excuse of a drought.

At least I can do my part by killing them when I can.  Doesn't do squat in terms of wiping them out but it does start feeling good after a while.
I have 168 characters remaining.

The A/C is getting a well deserved break. Cooler, dryer air. Only 71 degrees.
Good sleeping weather.

Hot and steamy. 86 degrees, 71 is the Dewpoint, 80% humidity.
I got the lawn mowed and trimmed earlier this morning, it's too hot to be outside anymore today.

There has been severe weather to our north and to the south in the past week.  This valley has a strange effect on incoming weather systems. I have seen storm cells break apart and split us on many occasions.

Will be getting soaked in a few minutes.

Be glad when June is over.

A lot of the neighbors were out mowing yesterday, I probably should have mowed too.

It rained here like a mofo from about 5 to 7 PM last evening. At least an inch and a half of rain.
Off and on showers all day today.

Raining pretty good here in Daytona Beach. It was quite muggy this morning, it started to rain a little after 2:00PM EDT. I just finished my rounds and got home just in time before it rained.

Where will you be when the lights go out on August 21st?

Probably so, but they don't bother me.

They don't even bite me anymore. Rarely even land on me.

I got so many mosquito bites running around in the woods as a kid, I think I built up an immunity or something.

Or there's something in my blood that repels them.

Same here.  Can't remember the last time I had a mosquito bite, even though my neighbs always complained about them.

Rained like a sumbeetch yesterday. Came down so hard for so long I thought the roof was gonna come down.

Hasn't rained yet today though.

Had time to get outside this morning and get the yard mowed.

That'll last about 10 days before I have to do it again.

If I mowed as often as I should, it would be every week.

But I don't.
