I've never seen it.
Not so much as a minute of it.
Ergo, my "real man" status....
CONFIRMED.

I have the DVD.
My wife bought it because she liked the scarf that the main female character wore and wanted to reproduce it. |

....one's gotta wonder about that, doncha know...if'n Leonardo DiCraprio is in a movie and the movie tanks, does he have to follow the Captain's lead and go down with the sh*t?

It's like watching a movie of JFK's life and hoping that the ending is different this time.

I am reminded that the Titanic sank in 1912. So next year is the 100th anniversary. So this might be the inspiration for the obbession.
Here's the key to enjoying a movie like The Titanic. Get diagnosed with a life threating disease, have tons of surgery to battle it then go watch a movie where lot's of people are immediately facing their mortality. The truth is, forget about the romance, Titanic was an awesome movie. It was so well done, so realistic, as I was facing my own mortality, it really hit home for me. Jimbo, I honestly don't think your manhood would be harmed it you saw Titanic. The movie is very well done. Yes, there are some scenes about a young couple, but most of the movie is about a really big boat that breaks apart and kills a lot of people. |
