Did you enjoy your 2017 Thanksgiving Dinner with Family & Friends?
Did you eat in or eat out?
Are you stuffed and about to roll over, fart, and call it a night so you can get up and make a 'Black Friday' dash for your stash?
Please tell the board about YOUR experiences because The Inquiring Mindless NEED TO KNOW!

We ate out at 'Ambulance Stop #1' (yea, Crackerbarrel) and yes, the Ambulance was there for other unfortunate elderly and since I have front row/reserved handicap spot #1, the 'Mi' (elder Pimp Mobile) was blocked in, but that was the end of dinner. It started out so much worse on the other side of wall I couldn't see through, for some 2-3 year old girl...
Cry"..no mommy...no mommy..no MOMMY..NO MOMMY!.NO MOMMY!!!.NOMOMMYNOOO!!!!AAYYYYEEEEEE!... <silence>"
In my big-boy abusive indoor voice, I immediately asked a working bus boy if he could stick a dirty sock in the girl's mouth if she wasn't already dead because SOME of the patrons wanted to eat in quiet peace within the ambiance of their lit oil lamps. I swear I convinced 'mommy' stuck a butter knife through the little missy's juice box, doncha know...and maybe the juice box just happened to be in front of her mouth.
One lady to the left spit her food out and her husband started laughing and drooling at the same time.
<clink.clink> as other dropped their silverware, chuckles, a few claps...but nothing negative and I even got free coffee as the brat and her 'rent-pair' (they sure weren't parents) left.
I still have indigestion.

It was a rainy day here in Daytona Beach, and it looked like I was going to have to eat the turkey breast that is marinating. However it stopped raining at 1:30PM so I made it to the community Thanksgiving Dinner a church held in New Smyrna Beach Today. As for the turkey breast I'll have it for supper tomorrow. Its good to have a backup plan in case things get awry. Hopefully I'll be able to have a Christmas with friends or relatives. Nonetheless, there will be a backup plan. It pays to cover your bases! Thumbs Up

I scarfed down some bread and stuffing at work around 9pm.  The turkey remaining was just bits and pieces, and all we had were spoons, anyway.  Not worth the hassle.

I filled my plate to the brim with turkey, chicken, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and other things. Plopped myself in front of the TV, watched the Chargers beat the Cowboys, ate the entire meal, had some wine and relaxed. The cousins and I also played a game where one person unraveled a ball with prizes while the other person digitally roll dice. When the other person rolled doubles they pass it on to the next person. The ultimate prize? Gummy poo! Anyway, later on we had dessert and coffee, i had a smores brownie, cream pie, and the best apple pie I ever tasted!
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off

Enough food for 7 adults and 2 children, I love my wife's family. Lots of laughs and exercise chasing the maniac 2 year old. He can find the 'on' switch for anything. The TV's, stereo, my computer.  I had to hide the mouse!

He likes to hide in closets...not afraid of the dark or anything.

If I knew I had a two year old coming to my house, I'd make sure all my electronics and anything that could be broken were placed high up out of reach or stashed away in the top of a backroom closet somewhere.

I'd probably spend the evening before child-proofing the entire place.

Little kids make me very nervous.

I did take measures like moving the fireplace tools, heavy metal out of the way.  He found it when he went into the utility closet. LOL

The stereo, TV and electronics are just there.  WAY too much trouble to move it just for the kid.

I had the best ever baked ham at work for Thanksgiving dinner at work. It was juicy and tender and FATTY. I seriously enjoyed it more than turkeys I have eaten. Yummy!
My name is Donathan, pronounced the same way you pronounce Jonathan, except with a D.😀 Hitting on a Lesbian who speaks to you and about you like trash means you're REALLY desperate! 😀

I, on the other hand, have always taken measures to have scissors, broken shards of glass, drugs, porn, my chainsaw-on-a-pole and an old refrigerator readily available whenever friends' kids came over.

Hop in, kids!  It's a neat fort!  Thumbs Up

^LOL

I remember warnings about storing or disposing of refrigerators and freezers...Remove the latch mechanism or the entire door!  I think most newer products have a magnetic latch.

Went to my mom's, then met my dad and stepmom at my nanny's afterwards. Ate lunch at mom's, dessert at nanny's, then went home and went to bed, cause I work overnights and I am not off on Thursdays.
