Actually the Sonic commercials are what brought me here. So I'll start with them. Now, I didn't mind the doofus twins. The unfunny comedic duo that they recently had. At least they had some kind of personality at least. The new wave of Sonic commercials are just about the most god awful incarnation of advertising I've ever seen. Boring people having boring conversations in a boring drive thru. They could AT LEAST try to make the food sound appealing? You know, like make people want to eat there? The red heads (Taylor Red) are specifically the most annoying. "Tell us to be QUIYEEETT." What's up with the thumping sound at the end of every commercial? *THUD THUD* A basketball? WTF is going on? Their commercials now suck as bad as their food. I wonder what's next? Some couple sitting there and the dude talking about his latest dentist appointment. "The coney dog is pretty good but I had to wait for two hours for a root canal and a couple of fillings. *THUD THUD* Boring, dull, and lifeless. I find the Alex Trebec life insurance commercials more exciting. Or even the walk in tub. |

They all sound like they're filmed in deep Appalachia. The ones that bother me to the point of hysteria are the ones with brain dead dad in the driver seat, and Jethro junior in the back seat with his buzzcut and "just like pa's" glasses. Of course the ones with the women-folk that talk like they they just emerged from the swamp are equally annoying. ------------- Children are just God's little way of punishing us for having sex |

the whole sonic family of advertising needs to die a quick death a reboot if you will and who wants a coca cola with nerds in it anyhow I went there 1 time and the menu gave me anxiety too many choices... I much prefer IN AND OUT burgers shakes fries coke ….that's it keep it simple people ------------- we are the music makers we are the dreamers of the dream |

I think that, aside from myself, you're the only person who feels that way. I loved those commercials and those guys were a hoot. I liked the original versions of those ads even better, when the one guy was with his wife. Piggy at 00:02 I came to this site tonight to say exactly that ! I miss those two guys. I kinda feel bad for them, as if they were really two friends and got fired so that we can see "real people" eating All I know is neither one of those two would have taken a big sloppy bite of a cheesesteak, which I saw today for the first time - the wife biting as the husband blabs. These ad-holes need to realize that sometimes leaving well enough alone ( the two "friends") is like comfort food. I guess it's just another example of BAM, as if we didn't realize people of color also eat. Tired of it. BAM: Black Appetites Matter.
