Here's a treat from 1979: two editions of the daily Morning offshoots from the Sunday Morning show w/Charles Kuralt; these editions were anchored by Bob Schieffer, and in a far different fashion to the Kuralt Sunday show (more news, less features); they also had similar daily versions of the Sunday title.

1979, I was just 4. But oddly enough I remember these.

Ah, 1979, even though I was 2 years old at the time, this was when TV news shows like CBS Morning Editions were still watchable. They weren't full of bullsh*t and propaganda and blackpilled fearmongering as they are now. Even then I knew it was a simpler time.
