There's a Degree Ultra Clear deodorant commercial where a woman dives out of her apartment window while some people a few windows down hold her dress.  She dives into the dress on the way down, lands in some bushes, and bounces up ready to go.  All so she didn't have to risk getting deodorant streaks on her little black dress.

But... it's a sleveless dress!  Why couldn't she have just put the deodorant on after she put the dress on?

But the best part about the commercial...  the "Do Not Attempt" disclaimer when the woman jumps out the window.

I've been thinking the exact same thing.  Dumb ad.

I have seen that one just recently.  I also thought why couldn't she put the deodorant on after ward's.

That isn't a new commercial - but it sure is a strange one. All I could mentally picture was this is for the lady who usually has globs resembling cottage cheese under her arms (from not shaving and using cheap deodorant). Diving out the window couldn't help.

I don't understand why people would use deodorant that gives them those cottage cheese globs, anyway.  I've been using deodorant every day now for 40 years, and not once have I experienced that.  Haven't these people ever thought of NOT using that kind of deodorant??  And how much are they using anyway?

I use something called SpeedStick Sport Talc.  I get neither globs nor complaints.

Yea, well, o.k. then! But - truthfully, now - did YOU have to jump off a balcony to get into your black dress?

I never understood why women use powder deodorant or why they make it.

Us guys have had invisible gels for years.
