Ya know, I have completely lost count how many of these medication ads are on TV for the diabetes pen.
God, I have such a DEEP hatred for all of these these commercials. "Oh...oh...oh." And I guess the new trend is taking popular 1970s-80s tunes and slapping them into these horrific ads. (ex. "Dance With Me", "Go Your Own Way", "Magic", etc etc) Such brilliant minds who create this slop. ---

To really make the ad executives brain really hurt. I wanna see them try to make a jingle based upon an obscure song from the 1900s!

One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off

^^ Don't encourage them!
By the time Ozempi's side effects kick in, you'll be hearing those same people screaming "oh no! oh no! oh no!"... |

Oh, oh,OH, it's "mute" time!
And how much will these commercials co$t the patients who take this stuff? Let me guess... $500 for a month's supply? My late girlfriend sometimes "stretched" her insulin by cutting back, because she sometimes couldn't afford it (even though I footed the bill whenever I could. And now she's gone. |

7 days since I first saw this, I am already past annoyed with this ad.
It is constantly airing - and now yet another ad where I can't hit "mute" fast enough. |

IF they even get anything and IF they still own any rights to it. Being a true "one hit wonder" band, they may well have sold the rights to it decades ago. |

I neither liked nor hated it. To me it was just part of the background noise. But it sure does bring back old memories. |

Kind of makes sense to spend a lazy day in bed with "my dick."
It's magic you know Never believe it's not so It's magic you know Never believe it's not so Never been awake Never seen a day break Leaning on my pillow in the morning Lazy day in bed music in my head Crazy music playing in the morning light It's magic you know Never believe it's not so It's magic you know Never believe it's not so I love my sunny day Dream of far away Dreaming on my pillow in the morning Never been awake Never seen a day break Leaning on my pillow in the morning light It's magic you know Never believe it's not so It's magic you know Never believe it's not so It's magic you know Never believe it's not so It's magic you know Never believe it's not so Songwriters: David Paton / William Lyall Magic lyrics © Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC |

On a side note, where the hell do pharmaceutical companies get the brand names for their drugs? Granted, there are other types of products with trade names chosen for reasons that only the companies can understand. However, I can't recall a prescription drug equivalent to Head & Shoulders shampoo, Wheaties cereal, etc. When I was a pharmacology graduate student, Viagra was years away and the closest thing to an FDA-approved boner booster was Yocon (yohimbine), and a subject of adolescent humor among us. I drew up a parody advert for an imaginary brand of yohimbine called Upandcumming. I'll have to put it on the creative forum. EDIT: I almost forgot - the "manufacturer" of my spoof brand was Hardon Pharmaceuticals in Tightfly, New Jersey. (Yocon's mfr. is/was headquartered in Tenafly, N.J.) |

Where did they come up with Ozempic? Huh? Did a group of advertising executives play Scrabble while on crack? 'Ozempic. Oh, that's a great name...let's use it!'

They probably did OK in the music business. First came the Bay City Rollers (the two main guys), then Pilot, then 10cc, the Alan Parsons Project, work with Elton John and Rick Wakeman. Pilot had like 5 studio albums. One of 'em died of AIDS in the 80s. Thanks to Wikipedia, I now know more about this band than I ever cared to. |

Lotsa these one-hit wonders have had otherwise pretty successful careers in the music biz. I dunno why, but I recently looked up Albert Hammond (It Never Rains in Southern California). Holy sh*t!! He wrote music for a lotta big names, and some pretty big hits. He's also put out 20-something albums of his own, though mostly in Spanish. Later on, I'm gonna have to listen to his 1974 single "I Don't Wanna Die In an Air Disaster". |

Say something once in a commercial and I will probably miss it because I am not paying attention. Repeat it several times and I will thereafter automatically "tune it out".

Naah. We may hate commercials. But more than that, we may also love to hate them. If we ever successfully petitioned a commercial, our raison d'etre would cease to exist. Then this website would go the way of "Fat Chicks in Party Hats", the funniest website ever, now only somewhat accessible in the Wayback Machine. |

welcome to HATE..unfortunately, as proven by Trivago Guy, Flo, Pat and Jan, 'starting a petition', calling out ad tards about how LAME and obnoxious these ads are or even having an informed opinion seems to change NADA ..or as the byline states--'you can TURN IT OFF'
