How ‘bout cranky-mercialed - that feeling that (at best), inspires one to vent about the adverts on CIH. I hate very few of these newfangled words. Two that I like are common here: adhole and adtard. I don’t know who gets credit for them. |

Yep, they are. The appellation’s original meaning is “suitcase,” from French portemanteau literally, “(it) carries (the) cloak”. (Source: dictionary.com) I’d call these Madison Avenue words portmerdes! |
