Just hard for me to believe that any mature, grown adult would get their panties in a wad and stomp off mad over such a minor annoyance.

Besides, his goofiness is the only halfway entertaining thing that goes on around here anymore.

WinkSo...you're here due to a love of Donathan and nothing more?

Well, Mechanically Separated Chicken had a gig tonight, and it went good! Woo-hoo! :D The crowd loved them! They rocked it, they killed it, they brought their A Game, they were ace, all of the terms meaning good! :D

GaF (as in Give a Fvck), though "mental health assessment" sort of fits too. LOL

Nah, it's like you DVR a great episode of your favorite sitcom. It's funny as hell the first time you watch it.. still pretty damn funny the second time.. kinda funny the next 10 times.. but eventually it gets old and boring, and you delete it to make room for something new. Then, when you're channel surfing, and the channel that plays your sitcom only ever plays that one episode, you eventually start scanning right past that channel without bothering to see what's on.. you just assume you already know what you'll see.

Though credit where it's due, there seems to be a never-ending wellspring of new characters.

You do realize that you just outed yourself for being completely full of sh*t, since "Mechanically Separated Chicken" was something you thought would be a good band name, not an actual band that you promote?

So, we are at dinner celebrating yet another good gig! :D. My band is not getting cheap champagne and cheap lobster, no, they are getting ribeye steak, lobster, steak fries, and Dom! And for dessert, Belgium chocolate mousse! They deserve a fine and expensive meal once in a blue moon! I may not be a multimillionaire, but I can budget for a rare splurge especially when they did such a good set like tonight! :D

Well, I book musical acts into clubs. I am responsible for making sure the music acts perform. I hype them up too. For example,"Mechanically Separated Chicken" is the best local rock band you will hear tonight! They are the new big thing! For your listening pleasure, here is Mechanically Separated Chicken!"

Mechanically Separated Chicken does their rocking set, the crowd cheers. I am screwed if Mechanically Separated Chicken does a bad set and gets booed, however as I hyped them up. If they do falter, I have to save my face and help them out at the same time. I say something like,"And that was their comedic, light hearted song!"

I then talk to them after the horrible show and ask them what went wrong as I know they are a great band. They then say something like,"I was way too nervous, performing for 50 people extremely daunted me, etc, etc. I then tell them to pretend that the audience are pillows. You wouldn't be nervous performing in front of non judgemental pillows. I try not to say,"Pretend the audience is in their underwear," cliche, because that would make you more nervous in real life. I then tell Mechanically Separated Chicken that they are a great band and will do better next time. We get burgers, soda and fries to make us all feel better about the bombed set.

After a GOOD show we drink glasses of champagne and eat lobster and risotta to celebrate!

Were you selling lollipops at the club to make a little extra money?

So, what % of the gate were you taking in?  A 6-way split isn't going to be much.  Since you book clubs, you must have a rep for doing so.  Where in Miami are you again?  Any YouTube videos of the bands you promote?  They'd love to get a little PR.  Does the band allow you to snort coke out of the navels of the roadies, too?  If not, it sounds like they are letting you miss a lot of the fun!

So after you spent the entire $100 on a bottle of Dom.. and then some out of pocket since Dom costs over a hundo a bottle.. who sprang for the food?

Oh wait, I forgot, MSC did two successful gigs in an hour and a half, so y'all had $200 to spend.

You guys must have teardown and setup down to a science.

Let's review how this thread has evolved.

This went from some frozen dinner to an actual band named MSC...you've outdone yourself on the (sh*t I made up on CIH) scale.

You have not said one believable word, not given us any tangible information. Not a single venue or website to prove what you are saying.

It's great having creative, imaginative people like him on a forum like this, isn't it?

I agree, but it just gets a little crazy and creepy. Such a desperate person.
