Make the dream yours?  You mean killing kids with your defective furniture which you already knew about and continued to sell?  Angry

We've covered this before.
The number of child deaths due to falling furniture is statistically insignificant.

In fact, more kids die each year from eating 1967 Chervolet Impala carburetors.

I can barely believe that a company would even try to carve out an advertising niche around this ridiculous concept!  But we are talking about IKEA, so I guess all bets are off.

When I replaced the carburetor on my 1966 Impala the new part's installation instructions included a WARNING! It contained proper disposal procedures for the old part to prevent accidental ingestion by children or pets.LOLLOLLOL

This could be the stuff of a really cool SNL skit if they could get a little ballsy.
Take this commercial with the gay sounding mincing hubby and have him say: ooh those little kids we hate are coming. They we have this slide in slide out table extension with the guillotine blade. Its called the grinderflugle (grinder in this case rhyming with Tinder). One of those tongue twister Ikea names.
I approve this message.

When they expand the table, it seems a little unstable and shakes too much for me - actually tightened by stomach as I expected the table to fall apart.

How about the parents teaching their kids not to climb on the furniture? Damn, now I got a craving for them meatballs.

You can teach your children to do anything, but that doesn't mean they will always remember (remember, these are little kids) or obey.  The fact is IKEA had a defectively-designed furniture that actually caused the death of six kids.
