What's with this glut of "falling house payments" and "low percentage morgage" ads?
In this one, some douchebag is getting something tattooed to her forearm.
I think it reads "Estimate New Payment".

I have to say that I am all for the advertising. Shame, I know. I have to stand behind them though because the more people that refinance and buy houses the more I get to pay my bills. I would prefer that they buy in Virginia not Alabama. On the same note, it IS ads like these that catch all of the people that apparently have never heard the term "if it seems to good to be true" these are the same people that seem suprised when their adjustable rate mortgages "adjust". Sorry, that is all.

Same one, just different heading.... this one is particularly terrible, almost as terrible as the octopus lady one.... it says "Calculate New Payment" I agree that there are people out there that aren't being very smart and it gets them into trouble sometimes. BUT, it doesn't change the fact that this is a ridiculous ad! Seriously, Tattoo Artist? |

Maybe they're saying that people who get tattooed, get themselves into mortgages they can't afford. Y'know---maybe young and dumb.
