I'd suggest avoiding Quizno's, though...

CryBroken Heart I've been informed by numerous members of family and associates that I have been 'Eaten In Absentia' any number of times already, today (without so much as a kiss). One daughter advised she only had five fingers on her hand and was counting them with the other, so five roaches alone that SHE was responsible for were named 'PaWolf' and met their fate on the meerkat plate.

WinkHere's wishing the CIH ladies a wonderful Valentine's Day - hope you got chocolates and hugs from your loved ones.Big smile

I replaced a brake light bulb in Mama's Edge! I find it kind of strange that with a vehicle over 12 years old BOTH brake light bulbs burned out within a month of each other.

I bought her her favorite beverages!

The stuff ain't cheap.  She likes this too.

And!  If the time is right...Tongue  She always loves a good 7-UP inside her! Evil Smile

I can't complain but sometimes I still do.

MrsD. had a tooth pulled and bone graft (prep for dental implant) a week prior to VD, and one of the most important things for the first 24 hours is ice... as much as you can stand... keep that stinky gum hole cold, or you'll swell up like a balloon. She gets home, lies down in bed for a couple hours, then gets up. From where I'm sitting, I can see the microwave, and here she comes... holding a potato.

Me: Um, honey? Whatcha doin'?

Her, with a Vicodin glaze over her eyes: I want a potato. I'm making a potato.

Me: Um, you think that's a good idea? Are you going to put it in the freezer after you cook it?

She looks at me, looks at the potato, looks at the microwave, back at the potato, back at me, opens her mouth like she's about to say something, but turns and walks away with the potato. Comes back with yogurt.

She earned a new nickname. I call her Mrs. Potato Head now.

So for VD, I got her this:

Big smileLOLClapThank You for brightening my day with the wonderfully whimsical & ever-so romantic Valentine's Tale from DarthyLand!
DarthWife has my best wishes for a full and pain-free recovery.
Are you having to watch over MrsD while she is away in Vicoville? While she is there, when you let her play with her gift, do you need to watch over her and make sure she isn't putting the small pieces in her mouth? Or do you just have to bleach the toy after playtime because of the germs in drool?Wink

Thank You for the well-wishes. Smile

Her vacation to Vicoville was only a four day, three night stay in the luxurious Snoreyouout suite of fabulous Darthy Towers, and I only had to keep her away from warm food for the first couple of days. Actually, she got her baked potato the day after VD, along with some crab legs. (yes, I also gave my wife crabs for VD... possibly a new tradition). Now it's a matter of keeping her away from crunchy things and limiting how many Doritos I eat in front of her. I'm nice like that.

She has yet to unpack her new Party Spudette, the box is proudly displayed on a shelf above the family room TV. LOL

CryThat's SO sad! I hope she can take those pills that dissolve them (I've had to take them before and you just pee them away, IF and WHEN they work). Please just tell us you didn't resort to running off for a 'Temp Job' at Quizno's...

One of the best things for kidney stones is cranberry juice.

I'm not kidding. It really works.

The more pure or less blended with other juices, the better obviously.

And BTW, I don't get the Quizno's joke at all.
Great news guys.... With the Air Hawk, flat balls are no longer a problem!!!

This was several years ago, not a pleasant experience for either one of us.  The doctor went (up in there) with some device to break the stones apart. They sent us home with a strainer for her urine, hoping to confirm the stones were passing.  She (her mommy part) was in so much pain. I suppose you could compare it to child birth.  That was 'No Man's Land' for about 6 weeks.
I can't complain but sometimes I still do.
