The History Channel must have teamed up with The Lifetime Channel, or something...Lifetime has Honey Boo Boo, History now has 'God, Guns and Automobiles'.
Another reason to turn off 'the idiot box' and reclaim your life.

On the History Channel, huh? The only historical implications this crap has or will have is in about 50 years from now, when it can be used as one of many exhibits to show the de-evolution of society.

God, guns and automobiles doesn't sound right in the same sentence. God didn't invent guns nor automobiles, but one can meet God using either.

Kinda like the ATF , alcohol, tobacco & firearms. Throw some good drugs in there and you got a party.

Let me just say that God Guns and Automobiles is the perfect title for this show. Mark Muller, the star of the show, is no "Honey Boo Boo" he's lived the American dream. He's created a business in the small town of Butler, MO that has been heard about all over the world. I've seen news stories about this man from as far as Japan. I'm from Butler, MO there's only about 4,000 people. I'm not a redneck and neither is he. What could be more American than God, Guns and Automobiles?? Seriously...people...watch it first then if its worthy make fun of it later.

^ I think the problem that people have with this has more to do with the fact that it's on the History Channel, but has nothing to do with history.

Everyone seems to be touching on everything I was really concerned about; 1.) WHY is this show on 'THE HISTORY CHANNEL'? Appears to have nothing to do with history, period. If it is indeed about life and success in small town U.S., shouldn't it be on TLC?
2.) 'God, Guns and Automobiles': Nice title! Gives it that warm little 'white supremist' feel.
Something just tells me this will be a huge hit amongst all those cute lil'bucktoothed redhead inbred white kids from the trailer parks everywhere between Alabama, Missouri and Idaho. Yea, all those kids with mothers who always remind them not to go outside at night without their hoods on.

When I moved to the South, I ran across this magazine called "Garden and Gun." I don't own a gun and never will but this title just makes me shake my head every time I see it. At first, you just kind of go, "huh," but then I start figuring out ways these two seemingly disparate things go together. For instance, you have voles/squirrels/snakes in your garden and you need a gun to kill them?

A new study finds that people who are chipper & happy live longer. Which is surprising because people who aren't chipper & happy want to kill people who are always chipper & happy. David Letterman
