You know 'em, you love 'em...up to the point where you hear them every 5 minutes on radio stations, o' course.

Not sure if there's another topic similar to this, so I'm starting it, because I can.

  • "Sorry"--Buckcherry.  Everyone's favorite bastardized Guns N' Roses/STP hybird felt the need to bend to the wills of the Record Companies & include an empty, aimed-for-commercial-play ballad, devoid of any emotion whatsoever, just like every other goddamned rock band does nowadays, from Hinder to Jet to Endeverafter.  The lyrics suck (I could've written the damned words in my sleep), Josh Todd's voice sucks, & the whole thing basically just rips off "Lips Of An Angel".  If I have to listen to this f*ckin' song one more time, there will be victims.
  • "Paralyzer"--Finger Eleven.  Some have noted that this song is an angrier version of Franz Ferdinand's breakout hit "Take Me Out".  I agree.  It's crap.
  • Anything by that talentless SOB Daughtry.  I don't know what to do if the record companies release one more single from his album.  Apparently, Velvet Revolver is considering him as their new lead singer.  If they choose him, all of my respect for Slash will go down the toilet.
  • "Big Girls Don't Cry"--Fergie.  Worst song ever.  I don't need to add anymore to this.
  • "Hey There Delilah"--Plain White T's.  Lordy how I hate this song.  Oh, if there's another re-re-re-release....

gah

I so agree! And I HATE BUCKCHERRY! If I could slowly maim the lead singer, I WOULDN'T because his horrified screams probably sound worse than his singing.
madness fills my heart and soul as if the great divide could swallow me whole

Just turn on any adult contemporary station and you will find the songs that really need to be put to rest.
