I always watch, when I'm back in England I also attend many racing events (mainly on grass tracks).
I love horse racing. The horses are always checked, through blood and urine analysis after each race. I really don't think there is any blatant use of steroids in these wonderful animals. The trouble here comes from hurrying these animals into the fast track before they're physically ready. It's very sad what occurred, but it's no reason to stop the races. |

I'll try to back-off. I know I've overreacted many times or wrongfully attacked a poster over something they said. It's not worth it if it means alienating myself from everyone here, some I've known for years. Next time, I'll proverbally bite my lip and just ignore a post I don't like.
To those I've attacked: For what it's worth, I'm sorry and I'm willing to put the past behind us and declare a truce. I hope everyone can understand. |

I'm absolutely in disagreement with PETA this time, blaming the jockey before even the investigation is even completed is just plain stupid.
We can only speculate. |
