You and I might be the only two here who would get this.  Catholic, old enough to remember the Latin Mass, and old enough to remember telephone exchanges.

Maybe, but I've got a Google foreign language translator.

WinkCan't you guys watch your language in this thread?LOL
The Google foreign translator is proving to be of low-quality - if Latin wasn't already dead, Google would have made sure it was through improper/slaughtered translations within 24 hours. I'm pretty disappointed.
And I just bet Maddy knows a little Latin...

There are loads of free language translators on the Internet. I just love them - learning for free.
I CANNOT safely use them professionally.
Then again, as Thor mentions - growing up Catholic with a mother who spoke Latin and would drag us off by the ears to Catholic Latin Mass...

No.  You're totally missing the point of this thread.

I was gonna post "This is too much work" using Pa's recommended translator, but every time I entered the phrase then translated it back to English to see if it said the same thing, it didn't.

So "This is too much work" will just have to suffice.

^^^WinkBasically true with almost any translator - especially the more you try to say. Now, you were once a prostitute substitute teacher, weren't you, ol'mule? 'Language/sentence structure matters', is it not? Also the main reason I cannot use these for professional purposes (we have to use 'certifiable'/bilingual individuals).

Whereas you on the other hand, are just plain old 'certifiable'.
