THEY mix art and sales well - at least they have me LOOKING at the phones.
 THEY accomplished part of what THEY want.

I STILL love these commercials!
'Minimalist Music', per se...they 're-mixed' Nina Simone's "Sinnerman"
(and I should've caught this one early, dammit!)
 The Late, yet Beautiful Nina Simone....Yea - I agree Faith - it is, but it is GREAT background music - I like it in the line of 'white noise'.
(personally, I love 'white noise', at a very low level, in the background...now and then; yea, got a 'rain machine' in the office - have had it, or something like it, for almost 20 years)

The music is pretty good in these commercials but I have alot of trouble with the idea behind at least one of them. It is the one where they say it's the last thing you look at at night and the first thing you look at in the morning. You know, I lead a pretty quiet life but these people need to get a life if they are chained to their d*mn phone. These people look pretty pathetic to me. This girl looks like she is more interested in her phone than she is her date. First thing I do in the morning is go to the bathroom and have a cup of coffee, not grab my iphone and see if anyone called or texted. But that's just me. |
