Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about all the sanitizer. It's really not that good because it kills the good bacteria on your skin as well as most of the bad. But it's a fact that there are a few resistant "super strains" of bad bacteria that is mainly happening due to all the antibiotics that have been prescribed over the years.

I think, like most everything, used properly the vaccines have their place. Elderly or at risk people would be good candidates for that, but to try and blanket vaccinate EVERYBODY to me seems like a bad idea. From what I have heard, it's just a bad flu, and healthy people can fight that off.

I, like many others, am sick and tired of the fear being spread by this stupid H1N1 thing. Did you realize that it went from being called Swine Flu to H1N1? Doesn't sound a bit more scary? It's crap. On average, 36,000 people die from the regular influenza. You know how many have died from Swine Flu this year? A little over 1000. That's according to the World Health Organization.
The media is making this out to be a huge deal when it's just another day and I'm getting really sick of it. My workplace has hand sanitizers at every entrance and in the elevators. I refuse to use them. Know what I do? WASH MY HANDS. And, no, I don't use anti-bacterial soap as it does indeed breed super bacteria that are resistant to antibacterials (this has been proven in labs).
I really want to call you anti-vaccinationists crazy. I really do. But, there's no point. You're going to believe what you believe and I'll still think you're nuts. I just look at the Scientologists. You know what they believe? That psychiatrists are out to destroy the world. That's right, they think it's a big conspiracy to get every person in the world on drugs so they can be controlled. They also believe that diseases such as schizophrenia and Autism are being made up by the people who have them just looking for attention. Vaccinate your damn kids, for Christ sake...
