The commercial where the one girl is taunting her friend, "Yoooou just have a Pop Tart (quick shot of the girl's friend, who looks depressed), but IIIIIIII have a waaaaaaaarm Toaster Strudel. Seeeee the difference?" Then she rolls her eyes as she starts gnawing on the thing. No wonder the other girl looks so morose. Ack.

Which is why I was happy to see the other girl snatch the thing away. Of course if I was her, I'd then slam it to the ground and storm out. But that wouldn't make for a family-friendly commercial...

Also...the frsoting NEVER comes neatly out of the packet!!! Mine always came out in a lumpy blob never the cute squiggly line...

I've been meaning to post about this & forgot about it.  I also despise this commercial, but for a different reason than has been mentioned before. 
 
First, I am so freaking sick of commercials (and cooking shows, for that matter) where women take bites of food & immediately look like they're mid-orgasm.  No one.  REPEAT  NO ONE does that.  Chick, it's a sandwich, not a 12 inch vibrating dong!
 
Which leads me to this commercial.  Now apparently it's ok to have 8 year old girls making the O-face when eating food.  It's just so seedy & disgusting, it makes me feel like I need a shower after I see that commercial.

You're gonna love my nuts!

I tend to do this when I am eating dark chocolate school boy biscuits with hot chocolate made from ghiridelli cocoa powder.

LOLLOLLOLLOL OMG, that's funny!!! And really true!

I hate Toaster Strudels commercials because they're all full of it. Toaster Strudels are NASTY!! That "strawberry" filling is watery and totally fake and the icing is nothing but sugar, food coloring and God knows what else that never comes out the way it does in the commercials. Yuck! Give me Pop Tarts any day!

I hate the "the one kids *want* to eat" line used in these.  I'm no parent, but if getting your spawn to eat a frosting-covered, jelly-filled, pie crust/cookie thing is any sort of struggle, you're doing something wrong.

And yeah, all a toaster strudel is in my opinion is a crummy Pop-Tart that needs refrigeration and assembly.  Man, what a fine product!

Haha... Actually, I do it. Well, okay. I don't act like I'm having an orgasm, but I will close my eyes and kind of savor the taste. I don't do it often, though, only when I'm eating something that's really good. (ie, Expensive. LOL)
 
Anyway, I hate this commercial as well. That little girl is such a brat... I think her mom should have been in the kitchen to tell of off for being so mean to her friend...Actually, scratch that. She probably learned that sort of behavior from her stuck-up, middle class soccer mom. >.>

I about died laughing reading this - SO TRUE!!!  It's IMPOSSIBLE to make those things right - you either have to burn it or try to nuke it after you toast it to get the center not freezing cold.  And, the outside feels insanely hot so it fools you into thinking this is the one time the middle is ACTUALLY cooked, only to bite into a big frozen hunk of strawberry goo.  Lame!

The pop-tart girl should've done something like this:
 
 " That doesn't look like a Toaster Strudel to me...lemme see it"   and then once she has it in her hand and "inspects" it...she should pretend to sneeze on it. 
 
" Ugh, I guess I'm gettin a cold.  Anyway, yeah, you're right, it's a Toaster Strudel. "  and then she can try to hand it back to her "friend".

Can we have sugar-filled slabs of dough instead?" I saw this commercial AGAIN the other day (seems like TruTV is hooked on it) and each time I see the little munchkin roll her eyes and poof her lips out, I throw up in my mouth a little.
