Just saw this ad, did a search and found nothing, so I guess it is new.  Video is below.

OMG...I don't even know where to start with this ad.  First off, I can't stand people making any slurping or chomping noise while eating, so you can imagine how this ad makes my blood boil.  But, yet, this commercial promotes noisy eating by having everyone chomp like their microphone is embedded into the Kit-Kat bar itself, and they make it worse by forming a semi-rhythm of chomping! Angry Dead Censored Nuke

I have (and have seen others) complain about exaggerated chomping in candy ads, but this surely tops it all.  Either way, this is definitely a commercial that is mute-worthy. 

Also, the way the first guy moves his head after he chomps the candy bar is very odd...as if he feels successful for eating his Kit-Kat!

I HATE this one! I don't like the idea of buying something that makes me sound obnoxious and inconsiderate to other people. Also who the hell has never eaten a kit kat? I think we all know it doesn't crunch like that and never will.

i really didn't think i was offended by this until it came on just like, 2 seconds ago.

I didn't have to watch...the noise was enough to make my stomach tense up, some. WHY does it bother me so much??

I think my ears dont know whether that is a "bad" crunch (ie bones snapping, broken glass, grinding teeth, etc.) or if it's just the disgusting thought of someone having such gross manners (ie smacking your lips, eating with your mouth open, talking with your mouth full, etc)

chomping on a carrot , or on celery, or KITKAT bars does not make you as cool/funny as bugs bunny nor does it excuse you in eating loudly just because your food is loud.

It is called table manners and self-control.

food and mouth sounds are gross.
Then they add the second thing I hate, exaggerated or intensified sounds of something that easily would be silent or barely audible.

Angry  This commercial also makes my blood boil !  I can't stand hearing those noises of food in commercials.  I understand where your coming from 100%.  I want to take the people who not only create these commercials but also approve them and tie them all in a chair with the highest level of speaker system you can purchase.  Put the volume full throttle and let them hear that until their ears bleed.  Harsh?  Yes but that is how much I can't stand these commercials.

Give me a break went off the air in May 12, 1987


Ratings continued to decline as NBC began to move the show around to various spots in it's schedule. Gimme a Break was canceled in the spring of 1987.

Captain Pipcard you shouldn't worry about being only one who likes it, one of my sister's and I have completely different tastes in commercials and argue about them.  That said, I HATE THIS COMMERCIAL!  From the first annoying crunch the first time I saw and heard it, it drives me up a wall.  I am sure that they hope the sounds will catch viewer's attention but I think most people are repulsed by this chomping, smacking, grinding, ill-mannered noise.

You're not the only one. This commercial actually made me want a Kit-Kat.
 
The only weird thing is the noise the woman makes...now, this may just be me and my mind in the gutter, but does anyone else think it sounds like she's trying to be seductive?

I am so glad to see this horrible ad is hated almost universally.

The hyper magnified sound of the candy breaking and crunching is disgusting and annoying.

I'm not a big fan of this sweet to begin with. I think the chocolate tastes cheap and is overly sugared. The biscuit is a simple sugar wafer.

The fact that the ad annoys the bullocks out me will never cause me to buy it!

Rubbish, absolute rubbish is what describes this ad. It's disgusting, obnoxious, and that doesn't even begin to describe my distaste for this wretched and vile commercial.

It's just horribly jarring, especially if the TV is on in the background.  That's when I notice the really awful-sounding commercials.  This happens when I'm on the computer or cooking.
