Gargh, this dumb ad grates on my nerves. A woman is stuffing her face with something, her husband (I guess) comes in and asks her what she's eating, she doesn't answer him, then finally after awhile she responds, "Two words: Black Bear". She's apparently eating some lunch meats and cheeses. She then says "One word: Shoprite" and he says something like, "Four words: I'm on my way". Four more words: Shut the bleep up! This ad just bugs me, the fake eating, the way they interact with eachother, the product itself. And if he wants some, why doesn't he just go into the fridge for the crap? Did she use it all in that one sandwich she's cramming in?

You are obviously in the NYC area because I
hear this ad and it bugs me, too. I can't stand it when people talk
with their mouths full. I hate the way she describes their "deli-style
meats and cheeses", as if she wants to make love to them. And how much
meat does she stuff in her sandwich, anyway? The man sees that she's
eating a sandwich with ham, roast beef and turkey.
Yuk! I would never have that much meat in my sandwich...ham is gross, anyway.I know it's evil but you almost wish the woman would start choking on her overstuffed sandwich as she's moaning in ecstasy over Black Bear meats and cheeses. That'll teach you to talk with your mouth full. |
