At MTV's VMA awards, Taylor Swift was just about to accept her award for best music video when Kanye West (who'd been swigging from a vodka bottle on the red carpet) grabbed the mic and announced to everyone that Beyonce had made the best video of all time.
 
Reportedly, Taylor Swift's mother lit into him after the show for spoiling her moment.
 
Do you think this had anything to do with Taylor Swift's skin color?
 
Kanye West is a total piece of s*** who should be banned from all further awards shows. Stupid rapper thug!!!

He was booed out of an after party I guess.
I watched the video today and Taylor Swift looked genuinely sad.
She seemed ok like, 'hey neat! and then this look of embarrassment and awkwardness.

I couldn't care less about her music, I can't say I could recognize any of it but this girl (and she is a mere girl) really got dumped on and it's a shame.

Beyonce', another one I couldn't care less about usually, actually stepped up and showed some class it seems.

Those award shows matter little, but mean is mean.

Is anyone actually just realizing that Kanye is a douchebag? He's been doing sh*t like this for years. This wasn't that bad; in fact, it was pretty hilarious. It's not like he straight up said that Taylor didn't deserve the award, or even that Beyonce's video was better. He pretty much implied it, though. Still, it was funny.
