It's on the travel channel right now as I'm typing this. I hated this guy within the first three minutes of him trying to sell the product. He's extremely loud/ practically shouting, comes on way too strong and is pretty rude and being a jerk. The woman who is trying the vacuum is getting put down by the guy just because she's not vacuuming fast enough. They're having a little race on who can clean up their area faster...
I mean jeeze this guy practically acts like he's better than this other person and constantly interrupts her. What a jerk.

Wrong section. Please, Nathan, move this to the "Commercials You Hate" Section.

Sorry about that Nathan! Thought infomercials were considered television related rants...

lol, I meant hoping Nathan (the admin) could move this, but since it is a TV-related rant, then It's best to leave it alone. |

Although, when you think about it, most of the commercials we rant about are ON TV.
(With the expection of radio, internet and print ads, which have their own rant sections.)
Infommercial is a contraction of Informational-Commercial.
By the way, in regard to the woman being put down in the commercial for not vaccuming fast enough? Men are routinely put down in commercials. Not much outrage. It is so commonplace.

There used to be a section called "Print Ads". It never got much traffic. I guess print ad-related issues could be talked about in the "Internet Ads" section. Looks like the internet has replaced most newspapers and magazines.
I haven't seen this infomercial, so I don't have any comments on it. However...
...I looked up the price. It's comparable to a typical regular dry vacuum, yet it combines both wet and dry capabilities. My experience is that, when a product has too many features, and it's reasonably priced, it suffers somewhere else. Maybe in the construction or reliability? I'd be skeptical.
