Just started seeing this commercial today and within an hour I've seen it about 3 times. It's about Pizza Hut's new stuffed crust pizza with a ring of cheese in or near the crust. I don't understand how this is a new concept, but I digress.
It features a comedian whose name escapes me, taking his pizza anywhere and everywhere, throwing his head back, shaking it around and screaming "JAAAAAACKPOOOOTTT!" at the top of his lungs. "Courtside with my stuffed crust pizza in between these two babes?! JAAAACKPOTTTTTT!" "At a fancy shmancy, poolside pizza party?! JAAAAACKPOOOTTTTT!" Cut to him on one of those plastic pool rafts with a pizza box in his lap and him and the whole friggin' group of party attendees yell "JACKPOOTTT!!!!" ... really, Pizza Hut? |

I haven't seen this commercial, but you're title reads stuff crust pan pizza. I've heard of both, stuff crust and pan pizza, but not together. Is it a new product?

It is a new product, but one that shouldn't exist. It's just a stuffed crust pizza but instead of the cheese inside the crust, its in a ring on the outside where the crust meets the toppings. WTF is the point of this pizza? If I want a stuffed crust pizza I'll get one, not one with cheese on the outside! And what's up with Jim Breuer, I feel kind of bad for him having to hawk pizza hut.

Seriously why does every commercial nowadays have to include a Brian Blessed impersonation?

Aaaaak! Surely you're not comparing that skinny stupid "JACKPPPOOT!" guy with Brian Blessed?? How are they alike?? Keeping on topic, this pizza is not new at all. A ring of cheese? Want to try a little harder, Pizza Hut?

I don't even like Pizza Hut pizza all that much. I much prefer Little Caesar's. But it must be nice to expect so little in life to consider a pizza a jackpot. Or maybe the guy's just an idiot. Probably the latter.

I just don't like the taste of Pizza hut. It tastes bland to me. I'd hardly describe it as a jackpot. I hope that pizza gives that moron the trots so badly he craps out his own innards and dies screaming.

..................................................................... Never heard of this guy before but I saw this commercial today. I dunno, but adding extra cheese to a pizza doesn't get me as hitting the jack pot. And the yelling is worse than the Golden Corral guy yelling "problem!!".

Once again, Pizza Hut has found a way to keep prospective customers from their front door. Here on Wolf Island, we once had five choices of where to get a hot pizza - before Pizza Hut when out of business (something nobody noticed).
(oh...how I so very much I hate this commercial)

Is the guy on the commercial Jim Brewer? And it if is, is this where 20+ years in the business gets you, doing Pizza commercials? (Only saw the commercial once, maybe I am wrong..)

Yes, this commercial is quite annoying. However, the design of the pizza is quite perplexing, considereing that it is a "stuffed crust" yet the cheese is on the outside of the crust. Silly pizza hut people... Oh, and my family doesn't eat Little Ceasar's. I used to like them back in the day when they had that giant Bigfoot pizza ('memba that) but recently their pizzas seem pretty poor; their focus seems to have shifted from quality to quantity with those Hot and Ready things. We got them a few times mostly for convenience but stopped when we contracted food poisoning from one of the pizzas. Yeah, no thank you... |

After years of wearing down the super-duper remote control, but NEVER knowing where the MUTE button was, this commercial saved me.
I've memorized the location of the tiny little 'mute' button, among the other 278 1/2 buttons on this electronic 'bubble-gum for the brain' changer.
I can hit it first time, every time.
JACKPOOOT!!!

If I could play ring toss with a piping hot cheese ring I would yell jackpot every time I put one over his head.

I liked him in Half Baked.... he makes a perfect pot head. Maybe that DOES mean he's a great spokesperson for Pizza Hut.
