Do they think we're stupid.  Do they think we'll buy their product because they are trying to cement it to our brains??!

I'm not kidding....it use to be something lengthy like a sporting event, then they downgraded to tv movies (2hrs or so), then it was a tv show, now, it's freaking sitcoms too.  You can watch something as short as a 30 minute show and on every one of their 4 commercial breaks, it's the same damn ad.  Usually the most annoying one....the IRS is stalking me because I haven't paid taxes since the 1940's, so I should use this tax attorney....I need to get yet another Visa check card, as if I'm not going into the red daily on NSF's in my current account....Even though I'm in my 30's Sally Fields is the newest drug pusher to tell me I need a once a month pill that restores the calcium in my bones so I can play twister with HER grandkids.....and let's not even go there with the head-on people.

If I heard it once at the beginning of the show, I'm not running out at 11pm and sign up for a new check card because you feel the need to beat me down with this invaluable information that I can't live without just because I want to watch an old episode of Friends!
