Reelz Channel ad on DirecTV

I don't know if Reelz Channel is also offered on cable, but on DirecTV, it's channel 238.

The commercial for it is so amateur and irritating, it makes me want to scream.  I haven't even actually watched it; I really listen more to the TV while I'm on the computer or doing other things, so it's the "song" (and I use the word loosely) that gets me. 

I don't even know where to find it (I tried YouTube, but only half-heartedly), but it's one of those songs I hate where the guitar plays the same melody as the singer, each syllable both sung and strummed. 

I wonder if anyone knows what I'm talking about.  But I hate it. Grrr.

thank you faith. i was going to make a topic on this myself but couldnt find a video or any words to describe the rage this commercial incites. there are not any synonyms for the hate pulsing through my veins every time this comes on. i swear anymore making a commercial as annoying as humanly possible is a new tactic to get you to want to watch/get whatever bullsh*t theyre hawking. i dont see it working very well.

Yep, I have seen this commercial and it is atrocious.  It's a guy singing in a whiny voice off-key and occasionally "saying" some of the word in a sing-songy way instead of actually singing it, if that makes sense.  "Channel 238, that is Reelz channel, Channel 238 - that's the REELZ channel."  Reminds me of a song you'd hear on Barney?  Really, REALLY irritating. 

Dish network has had a similar running of this horrible commercial too, instead of "Channel 238", it is replaced with one to fit the Dish network version, by saying "Channel 299."

Thankfully, haven't heard from this monstrosity in a while.
