Enough with these middle-aged boner pills! These ads piss me off. The latest one has a strange looking bloke with a square face, and it looks like he's wearing make-up for the ad.
I don't give a rat's ass if he has trouble raising a boner. Ugly bastards like that should be refrained from having sex. After all, why in hell would we want to see ugly douchenoozles like that spawn off replica's of themselves. |

What is with the stupid image of the couples in the separate bathtubs? WTF is up with that?
It NEVER made sense to me and it NEVER will. |

I was gonna start a thread about that very thing that annoys me about this ad. But so glad I did a search. I really hate that whole two bathtub thing. What the heck does it even mean. And they show it for every Cialis commercial. It's just dumb.

...I'm thinkin' it's a suggestion for those of us couples that can no longer sit in the same tub and have fun like we used to (we are suffering from "mid-life/drift crisis" and the tub refuses to stretch to meet our needs)...

Clinical testing proved that if the Cialis couple shared the same bathtub the extreme residual heat emanating from their well-used private parts after repeated Cialis enhanced copulation caused the water in the tub to boil over. As a result, Lilly's lawyers deemed it necessary to split the couples into separate tubs filled with ice water to protect the corporation from a ruinous class action lawsuit.

I just saw an article today saying that a drug company, due to the economy of course, is giving away free prescriptions of several drugs including VIAGRA! Great, that is just what we need...unemployed down on their luck workers who scrape to make ends meet in fear of being foreclosed on but we gonna give 'em something to keep it up so they can "have fun" and ooops..."accidentally" make another baby that they can't feed and won't take care of dumping it off or collecting wellfare for. Grrr

Yeah, I heard that too and couldn't believe it. As if Viagra was something really necessary for people to survive...so stupid.

Can you place yourself in the worst possible position - where it might mean something in regard to 'family'?

Is it not insult added to injury that medicare covers these "prescriptions" for Viagra and such? "We won't pay for preventative medicine, but god-forbid you can't get wood for your aging wife in a 40-year marriage? We are not supposed to be as virulent as we age, because our bodies slow down as we age. Viagra for the 20yo guy with nerve problems? Okay....Viagra for the 60yo dude who can't pitch a tent anymore? I don't think so.
Menopause in women is for the same reason as puberty; because the body cannot maintain or sustain a pregnancy properly. "Man-o-pause" (as I call it) is because the act may be too stressful on the body, as well as not being able to produce viable spermatozoa. I don't disapprove of seniors having sex, but at that point, the relationship should be about far more than that, shouldn't it? The general goal at that point is companionship, even if platonic. Take the Viagra, then take another pill for your heart, which will hamper your kidneys. Now take the pill for your kidneys, which will decrease your lung function. Now take the pill to correct your lung function, which will affect your cholesterol. Now take the pill for your cholesterol, which will cause "erectile dysfunction"....It's interesting how Pfizer always seem to have yet another pill for the side-effect of their other drugs in a cyclic fashion, it doesn't look like a coincidence, and I don't think it's just me who has noticed that. |

The bathtubs are stupid. How did they get the water in them? Did they haul the water to the cliff? How did they heat it? How did they keep it warm? This ad is gay.

There's a radio station in Bellingham, WA that did a parody song a few years ago featuring lyrics about Cialis to the tune of "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane...
"Ci-alis... When you want to stand tall..."
Every time I hear of Cialis anymore, that's the first thing that pops into my head

If you can get an MP3 of that, that would be wonderful! I'd love to hear that! What station is it, and can I pick it up about 150 miles south of you? |

Haw, haw. Maybe not my best choice of words. Touché.
Prometheus - it was on KISM out of Bellingham. They do these songs they call "rock and roll rip offs" and they usually play them during the morning show. This one was from a few years ago, so I'm not sure if they still play it or not. I don't know if an MP3 of the song even exists. I only heard the actual song once, but they played that line from it on a commercial for the morning show for a while afterward.
Not sure if you can pick up the station where you live, but you can go to their website www.kism.com and listen to the broadcast on the net.

Maybe they should have brought along a detached car door, so when it gets too warm, they can roll down the window |

These bone pill ads are aimed at the aged recreational sex market - too old to be having children. The people peoducing welfare babies are generally able to keep it going on their own.
As for the twin Cialis tubs - I think they are subliminal messages that Cialis ads are "clean" and not "dirty" like those other brands of penis hardeners and the most crazy "male enhancement" pills that provide a "chubby Santa" with a "sack he can be proud of". These people are, of course, hellbound.

The fact that there even IS an aged recreational sex market creeps me out. I'm sure lots of people didn't suddenly stop having sex after age 50 but why the hell should *I* have it shoved down my throat? I couldn't care less what two people old enough to be my parents do in the bedroom. In fact I'd rather not even think about it Besides, we all know the original purpose for all these ED drugs--for guys over 50 to be able to bone their trophy wives/ GFs who are all in their 20s. THAT's what they *really* need to be showing. Because if they did, then enough people would be creeped out to get those ads off TV altogether. |

Time for you to go do your homework.
This stuff comes in handy for folks that may have suffered certain spinal/nerve conditions, also - sometimes one's ability can be 'affected'.
Better to research prior to posting.
