This is an East Coast place..so only some of you on here will know of the commercials...
I absolutely detest this places radio spots...the horrific impersonations drive me up the wall how bad they are, not to mention how untimely some of the "people" are....Clinton? 1998 called...etc, etc, etc....Ellen (or as the spot says...Helen)...UGGHHHHHHHHH......Bush...come on... The subs they describe sound like a heart attack waiting to happen anyhow....that is my opinion though.... |

I'm very familiar with the end tag line which goes "oooh...oooh...Jerry's!". The jingle is as annoying as the aforementioned impersonations. I've heard these spots on WMAL, WTOP, WJFK and elsewhere in DC. When I think of Jerry's, I think of the dying chain of restaurants with the brown-and-orange signs which used to populate the Indianapolis landscape but are now found only in places like Columbus and Greenwood.
