I'm very hazy about this one.    I saw it tonight during the premiere of Hell's Kitchen, but I wasn't paying attention to the commercials.   What caught my attention was a bunch of people with one giant eye on their face.  

NEVERMIND.   I was able to go back on the TWC DVR since I'm still on the channel for the news.   It turns out it is a HR Block ad.  

It was so foul.   Like tiny talking heads foul.   It looked like one eye, just blown up and digitally placed in the center of their faces.   One guy was even wearing glasses, actually glassWinkLOLLOL on his eye.  

I think this is our punishment for complaining about the hair pulling freak jobs!!   Now we get to see cyclops people.

BBLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECCCCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

This ad was mentioned in the other H&R Block thread.

I just saw it last night. Geez, what a creepy-ass idea for an ad about getting your taxes done.
 
These advertising people nowadays will make the flimsiest connections between their product & some concept. It's really getting to the point that desperation is starting to set in. They are just grasping at straws now to come up with anything.
 
I can't wait until the day arrives that they have officially run out of ideas, & everything has been done at least once.
 
I wonder what they'll turn to next? I think I'd rather have subliminal advertising used on me than suffer thru this kind of idiotic nonsense.
 
Then, everytime we bought something, we could ponder whether we were influenced by subliminal images embedded in the TV shows we watch, or if it's something we actually wanted.
 
I think it would add an interesting facet to our daily lives. Thumbs%20Up

I was pulling on my boots this morning, glanced up and saw this gigantic eye. My first (and probably only thought) was WTF did I just see???

ANY product that uses distorted faces and or body parts in thier commercials are immediately muted and placed on Dr. Roos "no buy" list.  I'm sick of this sh*t. Angry
I saw this spot last night during HK; just how the f**k do taxes and cyclops go together?
They dont, its asinine and anybody associated with bringing this POS into being should be publicly flogged during the Super Bowl halftime show.  Dead

What's even worse is I saw it during the Tonight Show---in HD!!!    And what's worse about it is they didn't use cheap trick photography like a cheezy old horror movie, it's high tech, real looking editing.   The giant "eye" looks even worse in HD.

Ugh, cyclopses (except Leela from Futurama) freak me out! Just goggle "cyclops kitten" and tell me your not freaked out. I've not seen this one yet, and I hope I don't have to.

I saw it, BLLLEEEEECH!!!! worse than I thought, in the past cyclops never bothered me, until NOW!

I hate this realistic rendering of cyclops,plus the way the eyes stick out? GROSS!!!!!

I don't care about the "second look joke by cyclops" crap THIS COMMERCIAL IS TORTURE!!!!!!!

it's kind of obvious. H&R Block has a service called SECOND LOOK. they take a second look at your taxes, and they often find mistakes and more money. cyclops only have one eye, and thus usually only take ONE LOOK at everything, including taxes. (much like how most people only take one look at their taxes). so when one cyclops gets a second look at his taxes. the others are amazed.

you now know what it has to do with taxes. it's still creepy though.

Man, it seems that the one intelligent topic is being dumbed down by ubercrappy ads like this. the the guy who posted above me, I sympathize, my mom uses HR block, and they seem to be the ultimate purveyors of bad commercials around tax time. this one is no exception.

I saw this ad for the first time last week. I was eating dinner when this ad came on. I literally screamed and started gagging so much my father came by to see what was wrong. Those eyes! Those freaky HUGE one eyed freaks!

I hate this commercial! It is so freaky and stupid! I have to turn the channel everytime it comes on, which is everytime I watch TV!
 
It's totally turned me off from ever using H&R Block!
