No, this is a live-action movie based on a plastic figurine.
Starring Dennis Quaid as the plastic guy.

Maybe he asked Meg Ryan what being made of plastic feels like.

Can't anyone come up with any new ideas these days??? MY GOD!!! Some of these peole need to turn off the f**king video games and Ipods and use their brains or take a creative writting class!! JEEZ MON!!!!

Being a kid of the 80's I was interested when I first heard about a GI Joe movie. However tonight I saw a lack luster rip off of what I thought was a X-men or Fantastic 4 sequel. When they announced it was GI JOE I thought ..Meh

Same here. It looked like any other action movie, hardly worth a $3mil. commercial.
