"They say imports always get the best gas mileage"
"This Chevy Malibu gets an estimated 33 mpg highway"
Yes, that is more than the imports, Camry and Accord are 32 mpg.
If I buy that Malibu, I will save about $45 a year compared to the Camry and Accord and will lose about a thousand per year in residual value.
Good idea GM, spend millions on an ad campaign for a difference of 1 mpg.

How does everyone like the new commercial where Howie "disorients" the man so he can try out the emergency call system? If Howie long did that to me I would knee him in the groin and sue, baby, sue!

I usually turn the channel whenever Howie comes on but watched this one a couple times just to see how flawed GMC's "may the best truck win" gimmick is.

You have cop hair...
I don't mean to be offensive, but the guy in the current commercials with Howie looks like a cancer patient. He sounds like he has a mouthful of marbles as he acts horrible suspicious discussing the fuel economy of Chevy's latest pile of depreciating pot metal, as if he were a cross between Mushmouth and Joey Bag o' Donuts. |

Add GMC to the already long list of "Holiday Sales Events."

"LIttle Man Step:" Hey Jagoff: maybe the guy is handicapped and needs it!
And if the truck is so manly, why are you now touting On-Star for it?? Isn't having Onstar totally gay? Real men don't call for help! |

The 'little man step' comes in handy when the truck has an unreasonably tall lift kit like the F-150 SVT that's coming out soon. I could see busting my chin open on the tailgate without it.

F**k Howie Long!
I hate the commercial when they're trying to push how great onstar is. My cell phone is in my pocket it's not going anywhere in a crash! And guess what, I could care less if onstar is free for a year because I have to pay god knows what for it after that year, and even if I don't I have a big ugly onstar button forever in my car. I don't want that. Also, I could beat Howie Long with a sack of sweet valencia oranges over that smug ass look he gives in the commercial with the informant guy. When Howie gets the money back and makes a stupid shrug and says "It's a Chevy". Won't leave a bruise but it'll let him know who's boss. |

(not a Chevy owner since I sold my '68 Chevelle...) Guess I do not find Howie Long offensive in any way, whatsoever. Pretty level-headed.
I actually LIKE his ads - as I do Mike Rowe's, for FORD.
Not that we're buying anything, given a couple Toyotas and a Cadillac (dry-stored)....

Every time that "Big girl, little girl" commercial comes on, I toss a chair through my window. Sure I'm paying a ton for glass repair services, but hey at least the next one's free!
