This commercial is "painful," like the brat says.

They're really trying to push the name "Buick", aren't they? No matter how hard they try it'll never be like Mercedes or BMW or Tesla or Corvette or Mustang. That is, nobody cares about your Buick. No one's impressed. |

Same here. I'll take a Japanese or Korean import over any of those cars any day. Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Hyundai, Kia. Drive it 200,000 miles then get another one. |

I'm not saying you need to be impressed by such cars, but you wouldn't say "Who's the guy around the corner who drives the Buick?" You're more likely to say "Who's the guy who drives the Corvette?" And you won't hear a news report about a Buick or Honda Accord that drove into a building. The report would just say car or SUV or whatever...unless it's a Mercedes or Tesla or something. It's these cars that have more of an identity. Quick---think of a Tesla. Now, quick---think of a Buick. There's a bigger chance you know what a Tesla looks like than a current Buick. |

I would never say either one of those things.
Wouldn't think twice about either of them. Unless the building they drove into was my house. |

The thing that bothers me most about this commercial is that thing on Dads head- did he use a curling iron? That looks like the way I would fix my bangs in 1985.
Also, is the daughter in a car seat? I know there are laws and such but I am just too lazy to Google it.

Yes, girly girl.
I kinda expected Mom to deliver a heavy Latin accent. I was surprised, she sounds like a valley girl. |

Have we come to any consensus on the gender of the person who posts as Donathan? I say female. |

Beat me to it. These b*stards. Seen it this week, my Echo 5 device, Alexa has been triggered with this commercial a few times, Suddenly I hear her respond "Yes?" or "hmm, hm."
Commercials that pull "Hey Siri," does the same crap on my iPhone. |

I keep telling my Echo that it's that f-ing Buick commercial.
For having a business partnership, someone screwed up and didn't mute the frequency that trips her.
