Couldn't find the older post, but just like the previous 2, 3 years, Jan. is here - and that means a new "grandpa" as the Symbicort Big Bad Wolf!

This dumb f'ing ad. The kid celebrating his birthday seems a bit old for the Three Little Pigs.

Yeah, same animation. The "like you doo sumtimes grandpaa?!" garbage. The boy seems to overact this line, and grandpa seems slightly flamboyant.

This ad just gets more odd, more cringeworthy with every yearly update.

Well, THIS ol'Wolf wants to know what kind of latch-key family could raise a kid that wants a multi-story yellow 3-piggy house for a birthday cake? I seem to recall we didn't bully or beat on those kind of kids...they were too strange,

Do the Grandpas succumb to COPD on an annual basis? Perhaps Symbicort is not as effective as claimed.Wink

Well, when I ran out of Symbicort, I started taking some 'deep breathing' exercises with a friend and they actually have worked in a lot of ways, which has also apparently helped cut down on the frequency of my TIAs! In fact I feel GREApseoketr';r.hY?T/.?........Dead

I just wish Symbicort would get rid of this big bad wolf nursery rhyme nonsense. Most 3-year-olds don't get COPD. I see these types of ads constantly on the network evening newscasts and Wheel of Fortune. Because, y'know, anyone who watches Pat & Vanna is on their deathbed. Confused

Agreed. I have thought long and hardly about it and have come to the educated conclusion that *I* should be the new 'Grandpa'.

How many 3-year-olds have COPD?......

..............

..............

Didn't think you'd know any. Of course these ads are driving me up the wall, day after day. 'Happy birthday, can I now talk about my COPD diagnosis?' AngryAngry

New grandpa actor, new little children (this time three girls), same COPD s--t.

'And now Grandpa will read you a story about the first time I almost couldn't breathe because of my COPD! Doesn't that sound fun?"

Not. Angry

The latest one is better than the last one, IMO... if not just as unbelievable. Sure grandpa puts on wolf ears and dresses the grandkids up as piggies to tell the Three Little Pigs story, because that's what kids these days are into... Spend 20 minutes getting dressed up to be told a 10 minute story.

But yeah, that last kid. Got that Three Little Pigs themed birthday party he always wanted, complete with big ass fondant cake, only to have no one but Mom, Graampa, and little brother show up.

"Gee, what are we going to do now?"

"I dunno, maybe gramps can tell us again why he wheezes all the time!"

Fondant cakes are awesome.

Well yeah, that's kind of the point, that big awesome cake that probably serves 20, for...

Wheezers, party of four? LOL

All the other kids were probably too scared to show up at little Timmy's party, once they found out that Timmy's grandpa liked to huff and puff and blow little piggies.

Either way, I'm a bit disappointed in the cake they used in the ad.

Why is the house part yellow?

I thought the smart piggie built his house out of brick.

They make red brick patterned fondant for cakes....

I think they also make shingle patterns for the roof, too.

I guess either his mom or the prop department were just too lazy or something.

Kid shoulda thrown a temper tantrum over it.

His mother obviously doesn't love him.
