Or just get a computer to do it. These days, you can't tell the difference since hardly any new "music" has actual instruments, or for that matter, musicians - as in a human being with a modicum of talent and/or can at least carry a tune in a bucket without AutoTune. |

FwM were obviously proud and happy to not only allow the use of their song by the Clinton campaign, but to perform it live and I doubt they share your views with regards to how it affected the song. Probably increased the sales of what was a mostly long forgotten moldy-oldie and made them a ton of money. As for the use of classic rock and pop songs in commercials vs hiring song writers to write new ones, I think they prefer the classic songs due to the familiarity and recognizability. People hear those tunes and it creates feelings of nostalgia which I guess they figure creates positive feelings towards the product. Personally, I think it sucks. |

I think there are still a lot of talented musicians and instrumentalists out there today, but for the most part they are using those instruments to create crappy music. |

Unfortunately I had to listen to top 40 garbage in the Burlington Subway with my parents. We all agreed it sucked it was the same cords/notes repeated over and over again. What a waste of talent! If I remember correctly it was on 96.5 TIC FM. I'll take note to avoid that station like the plague. By the way the food was excellent we had three meatball footlong subs with toppings.
