Happy belated birthday Jimbo! You are a valued and valuable person and I hope your day was really fun! AND Happy Father's Day if you are a Dad!
My name is Donathan, pronounced the same way you pronounce Jonathan, except with a D.😀 Hitting on a Lesbian who speaks to you and about you like trash means you're REALLY desperate! 😀

Sorry I'm late to the party.

Hope you had a very happy birthday, my dear friend Jimbo.

Is there any cake left? Yeah, didn't think so.

Hope it was happy! 🍰

Now, now Pa... no need to get weepy.

I've just never been a sucker for a sob story, no matter who's telling it.

Even a sob sister who calls herself "Pa".

An additional 'Happy Birthday' to ol'Mule since joking about reg and the roller coaster took me into...

1884 - At Coney Island, in Brooklyn, NY, the first roller coaster in America opened.
I'm telling you, this world cannot even imagine a regulus with a roller coaster, doncha know...

This coaster was designed by LeMarcus Thompson. It was called the "Switchback Gravity Railroad". People would board the car, wich was then pushed forward by a worker. The train went about 150' down the track. Arriving at the end, workers would push the train up to an elevated point where the car would be pushed again, and the riders would go backwards to the point of origin. A few years later he designed a rid which was pulled up to the top of the ride and went in a continuous track.

One of the rides he designed rides still exists, and I rode it in 1985. Big smile The Rutschebanen at Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark is it's home (The ride's name is Danish for "Switchback Railway). It first opened in 1914, it's one of a handful of rides that were built before World War One and are still operational. It doesn't have hills that lift you out of your seat or turns where you get ragdolled, but the fact that its a classic makes it a must-see experience. This park also has one of the few "Tunnel of Love" rides in existence on this planet (Kennywood Park in Pennsylvania and Playland park in New York have these rides in the us. Tivoli also has a fun house which has things no park on this side of the Atlantic Ocean would have (If someone would fall they would sustain serious injury, Shocked which means no insurance company would cover it).
