The new Syria tourism commercial.
No really! I saw it on BBC America. WTF is wrong with you Assad regime??? "Yes yes, come see our new (old) chemical warfare program up close and personal! Smell the mustard gas in the early morning, there's nothing quite like it! Posgene makes wonderful fireworks (pyrotechnics for you military folk) every evening! Bring your own food and water though. No reason..." http://www.pri.org/stories/2016-09-02/assad-regime-launches-syria-always-beautiful-travel-ad |

That is bad. Pretty sure NO ONE wants to go visit Syria(At least not for a fun vacation). I remember laughing when I saw a ad promoting Wyoming for a fun vacation. Wyoming is definitely not a place most people think of as a fun vacation. Florida for Disneyworld, California for Hollywood and Disneyland as fun vacations, yes. Boring as heck and practically deserted Wyoming as a fun vacation? No.

That's like painting a broad stroke portrait or whatever the hell that cliché is. Goat aficionados and those who want to find a goat friend to be their significant other would flock to Syria like flies on you know what! http://www.thejudgingconnection.com/pdfs/Judging_Dairy_Goats.pdf

So how come all those Syrian refugees didn't simply take refuge in this apparent Utopia-by-the-Sea in their very own country?

I haven't been to Wyoming but I know that most people aren't thinking of Wyoming as a fun place to vacation. Florida and Califora as fun places to vacation, yes. Boring Wyoming as a fun place to vacation? Hell no!

Guess that I'm not most people. I'd rather vacation in Wyoming than Disney anything or any other people filled, overrated, super-expensive place. Lots of nature, good hiking spots, lots of open, quiet space. Sounds nice to me.

Yes, Wyoming is a NICE place to visit if you are into quiet nature and quiet wide open spaces. But it certainly is not a place that most people think of as a FUN vacation.

Or those resorts like Beaches or Sandals, all filled with beautiful people of every age. I wonder how many normal, schlumpy people go on those vacations expecting to see all those beautiful people...and all they end up seeing is each other. |

Maybe it's because I am a city guy. I love fun amusement parks. I could not see myself having fun in quiet nature.

Then please allow me to suggest this amusement ride. I'm sure the Great State of Wyoming will send it right down to Floriland, just for you.

Devil's Tower is nice. You can remember the simpler times when Close Encounters was an awesome movie. The Bighorn Mountains are also beautiful.
