This new Allstate ad featuring this dorkface has been airing for a couple of months. I didn't know who he was, then I saw him on the "Red Nose Day" special last week. So apparently he's famous. His name's Adam DeVine, and he's on a show called "Workaholics," which obviously I don't watch, and hope that I never do in the future. Adam DorkFace. Tongue

It's also yet another one of those ads where the action in the commercial has zilch to do with the product. How many people actually remember that this is about Allstate, rather than this unfunny wuss doing cliche spa treatments?

And I have to make sure I always hit the mute button before he gets to the chest hair thing, so I don't have to listen to that idiotic "guaranTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEs" thing.

Though, I suppose better this ad than the one with those 4 smug faux-alpha asshole celebs who think they're being so cute talking about Zarelto while they're golfing. ;-)

Interesting choice.

One can only assume that having Dennis Haysbert in whiteface didn't go over so well in the focus group?

I was wondering who he was. He has a major Jack Black vibe.

I only know this dude as "Andy" on Modern Family.  Seems like an odd choice for a celeb endorser; he's barely even a celeb!

One might imagine he has that kind of glow that someone who got chased down & raped by a group of flamers (and then said, "Thank You Sirs! May I Have Another?!") would have...

^Indeed - never heard of it (him?) before.
Thought he was a card-carrying member of the 'fruit of the month'-club, maybe even second generation (son of 'Divine'), but it actually has a female wife!

Adam DeVine's 'Mather'?

Just saw this guy in a promo for a movie.  Something about a wedding.

Same here, I never saw him in anything else but it looks like he has an extensive resume so far.
