Ever wondered where she disappeared to?
Apparently there were more internet search hits bringing up Erin porn than for insurance, so she got the ax. And now you know...

I read the article. The creator lady said she spent time on gaming forums to try to design the ideal mascot for the 18-24 year old demographic, which makes me wonder how come she didn't expect Erin being turned into porn material.
I mean, I'm a gamer, I've read and posted on various gaming forums over the years. If she truly spent time on gaming forums, I don't know how she DIDN'T see the pornification of Erin as anything but inevitable. Basically, almost every gaming forum has an offtopic section devoted to non-gaming specific discussion. Almost every one of those forums has a long, long thread along the lines of "hot or not"/"would you tap this?"/"How hot on a scale of 1-10". And almost all of them WILL have characters(both male and female) from cartoons/animes/video games in those threads. "Hottest video game character" and "hottest anime character" threads pop up often. Fan art thread are filled with images that are often posed and/or dressed more revealingly/suggestively than they are in their own source material. Seriously, if she really spent that much time on gaming forums it makes me wonder if the character wasn't deliberately designed to be porned up... |

Except for the pink hair, Erin had a pretty close resemblance to the Mom character on the 2004 "Game Over" TV show (who even had a demo game, which I think I've got somewhere.) All Erin needed were Uzi's...

Uh...no. Being one who never glued Daddy's Playboy pages together as an accidental result of playing 'Wacky Ding-Dong', I also never got into 'comic porn', which (to me) is simply one's sick release and expression of personal frustrations. Yea - that's it. If they took 'Erin' there (which wouldn't surprise me), then no...never noticed the fall from grace, never thought twice about that cartoon face.

I've never really got that either. I mean, there are literally hundreds of thousands of porn sites with real women on them out there. Surely you can find a girl that tickles your spank fancy on one of them... |
