That thing looks awesome!
I'd love to take it to the folk festivals I attend during the summer. |

I remember those. My best friend down the street as a kid, had one. Well, his parents did.

I DO remember the S & H Green Stamps! My mom would come home from the store with a lot of them, and would let us kids lick them and put them in the books. Boy, the simple things that used to keep us happy!

I liked the glue on the back. Tasted great and was less filling (sorry for being off-topic)

I just know I can build it. The plans are pretty straight forward.
When the kids are grown, I will strike out to the highway and see what's beyond. Hell, I may just make a mini frame and tow it with my bike. Either way, it's a must build. |

Ai remember them, too! I also remember going to the S&H store to look over the merchandise - kind of like the old "Wheel of Fortune" showcases. My mother picked out a clock and decades later, when my sister was getting married, she asked my mother if she could "have that beautiful antique clock." She actually thought it was an antique! It's still a joke in the family.

Back when I was in the 7th or 8th grade, I drew something I called "The TVA Light Bulb Destructor", in which a hydraulic piston affair slowly lowered over & subsequently destroyed light bulbs that were burning base-down at the bottom of the machine.
I always wanted to build one.
