Bad enough the idjit left her charge card anywhere but in her own posession, but the guy with the wiggleneck at the end!!! I just have this need to snap it. Today. Now. Please.
It drives me NUTS every time I see the ad - indeed makes it one of the first 'remote grab-worthy' ads of 2015.

Yea.  This one's annoying.  As I type this, the screaming goat Discover commercial is on.  And five minutes ago, the I LIKE YOU, I LIKE YOU TOO Discover commercial was on.  And about an hour ago, I saw the poor bastard who brought home a puppy Discover commercial.

I think that Discover is using annoyance as a weapon.

And the rubberneck dude - what a stereotypical club doofus.

I'm surprised they managed to sneak in a text signal "Don't Walk" sign in the commercial. Those signals are RARE nowadays!

About ten years ago, I bought something at Sears with my credit card.  For some reason, they had to use the old swipe machine---one of those things that makes an imprint of the card in carbon.  Because this was so out-of-the-ordinary, I simply took my merchandise and left.  Both the cashier and I forgot to retrieve the card.  Later on, I realized my card was missing.  So I went back to the counter at Sears where I'd used it earlier---and the cashier found it still in the machine!  I got lucky.

I don't remember why they had to use that archaic method.  Maybe the CC system was down temporarily or something.

In Girl Meets World, episode called Girl Meets Demolition, Aubrey, the salesgirl at Demolition, a vintage clothing store, charges Riley's credit card on carbon paper. On IMDB someone posted something along the lines of, " Why would a store in modern times use carbon paper to charge a credit card on? That method seems so damn old for 2015.....It could be because Demolition sold vintage clothing, and wanted to keep up with the old ways of doing things....

A screaming goat.....wtf!
First of all, why is the animal screaming like a frightened woman? Why is the wanker who opened the door screaming? Why is the equally annoying wanker at the Discover hotline screaming in unison?.....and what is that sound the wanker makes after his screaming fit is finished?
I hate everything in this horrible ad! I can't wait until the NHL playoffs are finished, so I can go back to watching commercial-free telly,(dvd's)!

f**k you Discover! I just chopped my card in half!!

Here's the thing...before the transition to the screaming goat, it was like this. He told the Discover guy he doesn't like surprises and opens the door. It turns out his friends are behind the door and they surprise him making him scream. This is what it was like before the screaming goat phenomenon.

Regarding the 'Freeze It' commercial, shouldn't the girl know where she last used the card? She goes to two places in the commercial. Go to the last place you used it. You didn't leave it in the second to last place you used it because that's impossible.

Isn't that what she does? It's just that, in the meantime, she's making sure no one is able to use it.

She goes to two places, and it's in the last one.  The first place is a restaurant.  The second place is the rubberneck club.

The thing that bothers me the most about this commercial is the stupid look on her friend's face when she tells her that she can't find her card.  She looks like she spent most of her school years sitting in the corner, eating paste.

I freaking hate those two stupid girls, and especially that stupid douchebag who goes "you're back" when they return to the club to retrieve the lost card. So annoying I just want to find that actor guy and sock him one!!

Disapprove...almost a year later and Discover insist we get revisited by 'Ms. BrainlessBlond' and 'Mr. ChickenNeck' at least once a day. Got to feel sorry for them as they are probably struggling actors and possibly normal people that will always be known for having made one particularly irritating commercial.

The hockey playoffs have a small number of sponsors.

Discover
Liberty Mutual
Enterprise Rental
Geico
Farmersonly.com

And every year, they bring back the same commercials.  How long have the ditzes and the rubberneck doofus been on the air?

There are a few old standby commercials that haven't played during the playoffs yet.  But we're still early in to it, and I'm sure that they're coming.
