I don't think I have ever seen a KFC ad that I liked.
Now, with pressure from strong voices, fast food is trying to clean up their act.
I still hate your campaign, I might buy your chicken still, but not these crazy bowls.

Oh, who are we going to make fun of now?  Tongue

Those bowls look disgusting!

Actually on second thought, they don't look all that bad! Still won't eat them though.

I had some bowl back in the day, when it was just Original Recipe, potatoes-n-gravy, and some corn. That wasn't bad. These though, I guess I'd give em a go for a "healthy" alternative on the go.

Fuzzy McNeckbeard has lost a little weight since his first KFC spot, so that's something.

At least they left the #HowDoYouKFC out. So goddamn sick of that hashtag.

LOL  Clap

I don't like bowls.  I like my food to be separate.  I especially wouldn't like some nondescript white rice which is probably tasteless and sticky with a little bit of left-over chicken parts cut up with some funky sauce.  If they had decent rice as a side order that would be another thing, but not this mess.  Sick

I'm imagining a cabinet full of school lunch trays over at Casa de Peach, the ones with little compartments to keep the food separate.

You probably wouldn't want to come to the restaurant I'd open up if I was so inclined.  I'd call it Slop, and I would serve nothing but baked ziti, chili, jambalaya, bowls of burrito ingredients, macaroni and cheese, etc.

I love slop.

One of my friends from high school used to talk about opening a restaurant called "Leftover King".

Around the perimeter of the dining room would be a bunch of kitchen counters with no chairs & refrigerators with stuff inside like cold, half eaten macaroni & cheese, meatloaf, lasagna, spaghetti, etc, etc.

Cartons of milk, pitchers of tea, etc.

Microwaves available for those nit-picky types who insist on heating their food.

As a matter of fact, one of my ideas for my restaurant, is that all the food will have been made the day before and then reheated.  Leftovers are best!

And I agree about cold food.  There's very little I can think of that has to be hot.  Some soups have to be hot, but that's all I can think of.

Why is it that nearly everybody likes cold leftover pizza, and meatloaf sandwiches, but nobody has that on their menu?

Good question.  I love a cold meatloaf sandwich (with ketchup).

Cold meatloaf sandwiches with extra mayo and black pepper. Mmmm.
Say something clever here...

No, I'm too lazy. Imagine it yourself.

ROFLMAO!  LOL

I don't mean everything has to be separated, and I do love spaghetti and sauce, mac n cheese, some casseroles.  What I meant was going to a fast food restaurant and getting it all plopped together, like bowls.  LOL

Thor: I drive MrsD nuts with my ability to enjoy just about any food cold. She won't even eat pizza cold, whereas I can eat leftover pasta out of the fridge, even some Campbells and Boyardees straight from the can. Meatloaf and pizza are givens.

Peachblossom: I'm guilty of a little culinary segregation myself, I tend to keep most things separate, but somethings were just meant to be together, like chicken strips and mashed potatoes. That's more of a "dip" or "dunk" situation than an "all you kids in the pool" thing though, so... I hear ya.
