Exactly! Shows how classless TV has become! It's not just TV it's video games too! Grand Theft Auto has been much maligned for violence but it's got nothing on Mortal Combat. Where they show in graphic detail every injury in x-ray depiction. An unnecessary add-on for the sake of gratuitous violence. Here I thought games like Carmageddon and Demolition Racer were bad!

Mama was invited by a new friend to a Yoga class...Confused

I told her to be careful, to ease into this type of thing.  Is she having an affair?

She is sore as heck, restless and I think she ignored my advice. She is hurtin for certain.

But here is the freaky stuff, she left me a note saying we will be dogsitting on Saturday night?

We will have an old shepherd collie mix here on Saturday night. It might be fun but I'm confused!

She misses Leah so much, we might have to relive some old moments.

For some odd reason, the channel on the TV is tuned into MTV. OMG there's so just so much crappy music I can take! I'm trying to be polite by not changing the channel! Argh!

Update: 82 has Murder She Wrote, 101 has Planet Earth, 109 has The Nanny bleugh! Absolutely nothing on TV! Might as well watch Rambo III just for sh*ts and giggles!

I've been noticing these things on the edge of the grocery store parking lot for months now. I finally decided to investigate this morning. I just had to take the long way out of the parking lot...TESLA CHARGING STATIONS!!

By the time electric car technology takes over to the point that traditional car maintenance headaches are a thing of the past, I'll be too old to enjoy the freedom and advantages of it.

If I'm even still alive, that is.

Our dog sitting adventure...What a delightful dog she is! Very pretty with Collie markings, about 60 pounds, not as big as Leah was. I gave her some more water and food, took her out to pee.

She was sleeping at the foot of the bed just like Leah did. She was just talking to me too, so cute!

I'm sure that would go over well. It's been fun having another critter around the house.

I just read that the Toys R Us in Waterbury is closing! that stores at least 21 years old! I'm not totally surprised though it's in a high crime low income area.

After long absence, cougars return to Wisconsin

After disappearing from the Wisconsin landscape for more than a century, cougars are roaming the state.

That includes here in Northeast Wisconsin.

Confirmed reports of cougars have soared over the past six months.

From Antigo in Langlade County to Rosendale in Fond du Lac County, and many locations in between, trail cameras are capturing cougars on the prowl.

"Deer are going to be their primary prey in Wisconsin and we certainly have a good supply of deer in the state," says Jane Wiedenhoeft, DNR Assistant Large Carnivore Specialist.

After disappearing from Wisconsin around 1900, it would be more than a century until confirmation of a cougar in the state, in 2008, near Milton.

So now the morons who tromp around in the woods with their rifles, shooting at everything that moves, will have cougars to shoot at too.

Maybe that blonde cougar in the red dress will get ahold of them before they have a chance to kill any of the other cougars.

I doubt that it's legal to shoot or trap them.

I asked my firewood guy, when I saw him on Saturday, why I saw trucks parked on the side of the road like people were hunting.  It's Coyote season.

After doing some research, I see hunting Bobcat and Lynx is legal. No mention of cougars because they have been so scarce.

Up in the GWN, on Wolfy Island where The Den exists, there is NO HUNTING because, well...we lived in an ISLAND - how could any critters exist THERE?
They do. We had plenty of coyotes, wolves, bears, all kids of huge deer...but NO CATS (thank goodness). They scare me.

We live on a peninsula of land with a river on one side and a channel on the other.  We usually only see deer in the winter, when the water is frozen.

I've been taking advantage of the mild weather. Yesterday, I swept the garage floor and hosed it down.
Today, I changed the oil in the Edge. Nice clean floor to lie down on.  I washed it too, the Edge that is.

Upper 30s today before a big cool down, I should have bought a load of wood today.

Mama's W-2 came today and I think I have everything I need to file. The tax firm gives us an organizer.
That will be job #1 for me tomorrow morning.

There's supposed to be some kind of new verification code number on the W-2's to help thwart ID theft and tax refund fraud.

Best make sure it's on there.

Lot of tax return fraud this year because of the Equifax security breach.

They're saying it helps to get your return filed ASAP, too.

You made me look, there is a space for a verification code but it's blank.  Maybe that is established when it's filed. Confused

She should contact her employer.

Maybe they are supposed to give it upon request.
