These people don't have that problem. My 600 Pound Life, going on 3 seasons(why?)now.

I've watched a few episodes of that.  OMG.

I once went above 200 lbs, and I was mortified.  I dunno how those people can get to 300 lbs, let alone 600, and continue eating all that they do.

...is that the actual tagline for the show? "Maria is eating herself to death"? Does the program end when she actually dies? Are bets taken for when it'll happen? lol

Don't these people ever get full? How do they consistently maintain 600lbs, even considering they're completely sedentary? I think on my worst day, I can't eat more than 4000 calories (nowhere near enough to sustain a 600-lbs person)
without feeling sluggish and having extreme stomach pains.

Every once in awhile, I'll eat till I'm stuffed like a pig.  Afterwards, I feel like hell.  The people in this show seem to be in a constant state of that---laying in bed and constantly eating heavy, greasy or sugary foods.  I don't understand how anyone could get to the point where they can't even get out of bed, and then continue on that same path for years.

Just noticed recently that Local on the 8s is no longer "local".  It still goes by the same name, but it only gives the weather for the major cities in the US.  I don't really care about St. Louis weather, and they don't include any cities near me (Sacramento).  San Francisco is the closest, but their weather is totally different.

Also, there used to be a banner across the bottom of the screen that gave the weather for towns near mine, but that's now national, too.

Hell, I've gone 25% body fat, and right now, after a few injuries and illnesses I'm at about 20% and mortified.

Learned to stop caring about the weight after realizing how dangerous that had been when I was younger Wouldn't be too upset sitting on 180-200+ (for 5'5" practically the equivilant of 300 for a non-midget)

I can understand 300 lbs...there are many high schoolers and college people who want to be offensive line in football. If you want to knock down little itty bitty wide receivers from the opposite team, you need to have 275-300 lbs. But 600 is WAY WAY WAY too much. TLC should be ashamed of themselves for airing this piece of crap.

TWC should be ashamed of themselves for greenlighting Fat Guys in the Woods. Seriously, WTF?! Are the people at NBC Universal (ahem, Comcast...) on crack cocaine or something? I miss the Weather Channel of about 15-20 years ago...Weather 24/7 except for the occasional recent weather special, Storm Stories filler or The Weather Classroom, which aired around 1AM Sunday mornings (west coast time obviously). Again, Animal Planet like the others should be ashamed of themselves.
In fact, almost every cable channel should be ashamed of themselves!!! Especially TV LAND!! They are such idiots airing chopped up TV shows with more commercials than show. That's why an episode of Friends is 42 minutes long. You get 18 minutes of show, and 24 minutes of commercials...
Back after a long absence...still hating those commercials. Go away Limu Emu and Doug!

LOLThere is a NEW Animal Planet show called 'Treetop Cat Rescue'.
Talk about ABSURED! Just saw the preview and about died!!!LOL
"...oh - this seems like SUCH a nice kitten!...." - right before the cat goes postal at the top of the tree.
Almost blew the needle out of my arm at the plasma bank - and, 2 hours later, I'm STILL laughing about it - I'm still in tears! Could NOT find the commercial, but it MAY be '#1 for 2015'LOL.
This is a show I ***MUST*** see!

Scrolling through the channel guide last night and saw this - on the weather channel.

Really? So if I wanted a weather forecast I'd have to sit through an hour of fat guys doing whatever they do in some woods somewhere.

^  No.  60 minutes!  LOL

They didn't spend much time on the procedure itself.  Most of the time was spent on these people discussing their feelings of low self-esteem due to their nasty-looking teeth.  One teenage girl was missing teeth because they never even grew---not even baby teeth.  A middle-aged guy had gotten hit by a flying baseball bat as a teenager.

"Smile".

Series premier tonight.

Two people with gnarly teeth go to a dentist for dental implants and then their teeth aren't gnarly anymore.

Seriously.  They made this into a TV show.

Yes. The Duggars will premiere a new spin off about one of their daughters, I think. More reality trash, more cameras following them 24/7/365, more BS.
Would HBO ever do a show on the Duggars. NO!!

Here's the thing, if TLC ever tried to stick a camera in my house, I would kick the cameraman and everyone else working on the show out of my personal life. There are too many dimwits who are the "look at me! I'm so (insert expression) so I need the whole world to see what I'm like" type.

Talk about overload! Last night America's Got Talent premiered, Extreme Weight Loss premiered, and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? came back with Jeff Foxworthy after about a 5-year absence. Tonight it's Bullseye on Fox (YUCK!), Celebrity Wife Swap on ABC (double yuck!), a rerun of another stupid reality show called I Can Do That! on NBC and The Briefcase over at CBS. Do the big 4 networks think no one watches TV in the summer? HBO has been my friend so far with movies. Ah, paradise from reality BS.

And that "Briefcase" show...a family will receive $101,000 in a briefcase and they have to decide to either keep it all or keep nothing and give it to another family. Is CBS sort-of trying to revive that 1950s show "The Millionaire"...but with less money? We'll see how long that show lasts.

Scripted TV isn't much better. "Under The Dome" is back and a new series where animals are turning vicious by James Patterson called "Zoo" is premiering. With that much selection I WILL be looking forward to mowing the lawn to distract me from all this TV crap.

Oh really? I thought "The Briefcase" was not going to be another frickin reality show. Based off the promo, I thought it was a revival of "The Millionaire" from the 1950s, where an anonymous person gives money to random people...this time in a briefcase.
Looks like CBS has run out of summer options. Of course, Big Brother will be the "most watched" show this summer...bleh. Am I already talking about that show? Wow...time flies, it's almost summertime. ABC is hawking The Bachelorette like crazy...which for me, who cares.
