There's an 'acquired taste' factor and a 'repeat offender' (the main girl has been all over the commercial map - I recall her from Lowe's ads, a few years back).
'Art Gallery'? I HATED IT the first time I saw it - then I saw it again and fell on the floor -"THIS IS 'FIREFACE' BY DIEGO!" just made me want to slap 'Little Sally', but it got even funnier when I watched it again (after 'chillax')...
"What HAPPENED to you?"
"I went to grad school?"

This video plays the entire series - watch for 'Take Your Child To Work', 'House Hunters', 'Emily's Job Interview'...they're all great.

I thought about starting a thread on these Haverty's ads, but I figured they were a regional company & I kind of doubted they would be on YouTube.

I don't hate them, but I don't particularly like them either. To me they are on the same level as the Geico Caveman ads or any other overly repetitive "concept" ads.

With the exception of the Sonic guys ads.

I could watch those as often as they want to show them.

These I have tired of.

...the ads take aim and lay their claim to the heart and the soul of the spender

I STILL laugh at these even though they rarely play down here in The Swamp - especially the LONG version of 'The Art Gallery', which never shows on the idiot box.
And yes - 'Emily' is a indeed one of our 'Repeat Offenders'.
