mostly I like the old spice ads (at least don't hate them). Hopefully this is not a lurch in a new direction.

ADholes...now there is one word blend I like! LOL Goes well with sheeple.

Like the title adversaries in Poltergeist, they're (the Old Spice commercials) back. Dead Please bring back the ones from the Seventies with the whistled jingle.

^^ I saw it I think over the weekend.  The one this time is with mom sobbing over her grown up son and the dad celebrating it, right?

EDIT ****

Called "Dadsong" this time around:

Like the Momsong, I'm kinda on the fence. It's creepy but at the same time so ridiculous it's funny.

I saw this recently as well, but no time to post it.

I honestly do not know which is worse: Old Spice, or their commercials.

This one is downright HORRIBLE.
It really, really, REALLY makes me NOT want to buy their products.
Not that I would anyway, because I have much better taste than that.

It does sort of make you wonder which demographic these commercials are targeted to? The only group I can think of is apron-string Mom's, and maybe the reject pile over at American Idol.

Is it just me or does it seem like they don't truly want to sell Old Spice. Who are they really advertising to, people who are recreationally medicated?

^one has to figure they only came up with these ads while 'medicated'. Personally, *I* think they are some of the most creative ads around - I love them.

I wish I had started a career in writing and producing commercials, a job where I would never have to worry about being drug tested.
