We've all heard them...those insipid commercial jingles that rather quickly become brainworms (like earworms, but worse!).

The two I have stuck in my head right now are:

Eight hundred five eight eight, two three hundred, Empire today!
Call one eight hundred steamer, Stanley Steamer gets carpets cleaner!
(I saw a Stanley Steamer truck just a few houses away yesterday, and I still can't get that goddamn song out of my head!!!)

So...any others you'd like to share?

"Nationwide is ...."

"Like a good neighbor .... "

"Here's a money saving idea! *what is it?* Westside Kia! *oh!*"

That last one is probably exclusive to the Houston area (though the gerbils should be recognizable):

What makes it irritating is that it's one of those commercials that always play twice in a commercial break, Not the exact same commercial but another with the same jingle at the end.

"I DON'T CARE! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT!"

"For the best car insurance rates online, go to The General and save some time!"

"Kids and Grown-ups love it so, the happy world of Haribo!" - I actually had to look up the first line of that jingle because I honestly couldn't understand what they were saying all those times.

Here's the latest Empire Carpet and I don't mind babies but they have set this up to make it look like the babies are singing and some of the babies never move their mouth--like the baby in pink just sits there with her mouth hanging open. Just sayin'

A new study finds that people who are chipper & happy live longer. Which is surprising because people who aren't chipper & happy want to kill people who are always chipper & happy. David Letterman

That commercial cracks me up!

At least they didn't manipulate their mouths with CGI, to make it look like they're "talking".

The "cookies" line is the best and off key singing and plunking is hilarious.
