^^ My aunt and uncle used to live in the Bridgestone neighborhood about 20 years ago. It's up in Spring, off of Kuykendahl.

These folks up here like their guns too.
Dumb move by the young couple. Dad could have practiced some restraint as well.

Hmmmm...did the girl let a boyfriend in, and then when the father caught them, she lied and made the father think he was an intruder who was raping her?? Holy sh*t. If that's the case, this daughter has to suffer some consequences for having created this whole mess. If nothing else, she has to live thinking about the lives she screwed up. I hope it was at least a good lay for them. Anyway, it makes me think of the Taco Bell commercial (or was it KFC?) with the father chasing the teenage boy down the street. |

Yeah Taco Bell, the one for their new portable "nacho" crap. The victim in this case must've forgotten to swing by there on the way over there for "getaway from angry dad" fuel |

I read the entire story on another site and the farmer was very good at being able to tell something was "bothering" his cows and set up the wildlife cam. So for all you animals "lovers" :

^^ Gawd And no surprise that their mugshots revealed they look just what you'd picture them to look like.
The local scoop is that the dad (confined to a wheelchair) went into the room and caught them after one of his other kids woke him and told him they heard a stranger in the house, the daughter said she didn't know him, there was a heated exchange which ended with the victim appearing to be reaching for something, possibly a gun. That's when the dad drew down and shot him. Legal experts think he has grounds to argue self defense even if charges are filed. |

Do we know the girl's relationship with the boy, if any? We know he was allowed into the house, but sometimes, people do let strangers into the house. In other words, was the sex consensual? And do we know if the kid actually did have a gun? |

Kid was unarmed and was her boyfriend/f**k buddy unbeknownst to the dad. Different outlets have slightly different reports on details (shocking, huh? ), but these are the general consensuses.

Another thing is, what was she trying to accomplish by lying at the outset? Let's say there was no incident after the lie and the boy gets arrested & charged by the father for trespassing and whatever else. It very likely would come out in court (either by her or by friends of the victim that knew) that they did in fact know each other and was invited in by her, and her relationship with both him and her dad are damaged or ruined. So what exactly in the hell was she thinking? Oh yeah, she wasn't. Now 2 families are forever affected by this.

That's it. She's a teenager. She can only think "in the moment", and how she can avoid her father's initial wrath and get away that moment with what she did. In many teenagers' tiny undeveloped minds, consequences are things one deals with later. Teenagers often don't think; they react. It's why they should probably be kept in kennels from about the age of 14 to maybe 23. |

Another trailer trash tragedy.
I don't mean to judge, thanks for more local insight, Ins213. It's a twisted story, daughter has to know how dad is about boys. I see a new reality show "Scooters and Shotguns" |

How 'bout simply teaching your precious little girl not to walk into door handles? Oh wait, that would actually ask a parent to take time out of their selfish day to interact with their offspring. |

All our interior doors have these handles, hate them. They catch the pocket on a jacket pretty easily too.

I felt bad for this officer. To those whom think he over reacted, think again. I've seen similar videos where the Cop was killed. He was actually in tears over his mistake. Which shows me that his heart is to protect and serve, even though it didn't look so much in this particular case. The man survived. |

In this case, the daughter's the "very stupid people". Dad's alerted by son that there's a stranger in the house. Dad goes into 16 y/o daughter's bedroom and finds a guy in bed with her. Daughter says she doesn't know the guy. Dad shoots guy dead. Turns out, the guy is the daughter's boyfriend. Apparently, the daughter, stupid as can be, wanted to avoid Dad's wrath for letting her boyfriend in the house and into her bed, so she said she didn't know him. Of course, this means the boyfriend would've been a rapist. No charges are being filed against the Dad. |
